Jim Corbett is the oldest National Park in India, established in 1936 named as Hailey National Park during British Raj. Later in 1956, it was renamed as Corbett National Park after the hunter & naturalist Jim Corbett.
We visited this jungle in the month of May with an excitement to see Tigers as it is the very first listed Tiger Reserve and we were lucky enough to spot a full size Tiger in the middle of the river bed inside the jungle. The entire Jeep Safari is super thrilling & the excitement to spot animals never comes to an end. A must visit place in Uttarakhand.
