Renee is a fabulous interviewer.
He's an amazing champion. Getting to the top is only step 1,the real test is only beginning, Swerve has much to prove now that he is the top guy. Hope he gets the right booking and storyline to keep things interesting.
Never stop these, AEW. Humanizing these people is incredible and I love hearing them talk as the person rather than in-character (those have their place too!). Swerve's run is going to be so damn fun to watch and I cannot wait to see what ride he takes us on, and what swerves ;) he has in store!
Swerve has been putting in work for years and all that hard work paid off. 💪. He's clearly over with the fans and hopefully he will have a long title reign. WHO'S HOUSE!!!????

I remember watching AEW 2-3 yrs ago and became a fan of both his and Darby Allen's because theyre from my hometown area and watching them wrestle each other and watching them both grow as wrestlers has been absolutely amazing And with The different directions their careers have taken them as they've grown as wrestlers has been absolutely amazing as well, Darby with Sting and now the New AEW World Heavyweight champion......... Swerve Strickland!!!

I been thinking the same thing.
The moment for me when I became a huge fan was when he did that promo and went an beat up Nick. When he was fighting Darby and he did his joker ish promo. It felt dark and it just made me go where is this going. It just set him apart from so many angles at the time. You could tell he just had it. Swerve is a great wrestler and I will enjoy his ride with the belt. Well earned. 👍🏻
Yeah man, I feel like that was one of best all time AEW promos. Had horror movie vibes, thats when I really saw for the first time he was next level.
