Leonard Ravenhill's sermons changed by life and impacted my spiritual walk with the Lord deeply. A few years later I discovered Dr Michael Brown and his ministry. Again, the Lord deeply impacted my life and continued to stir my passion for the Lord through him. So when I eventually realized that Dr Brown knew Ravenhill and was even mentored by him. I wasn't the least surprised.
Thats great. I find daily reading the word and prayer stirs up passion for the Lord, as the flesh weakens the Spirit enlarges so amazing so good. Got to eat and drink daily though, the flesh likes to make a comeback.
Leonard Ravenhill, Dr. Michael Brown, Keith Green, KP Yohannan, David Wilkerson, Francis Chan, Paul Washer, Cater Conlon, these men (and others) have spoken so much into my life. May God continue to bless them and their ministries, even those who have gone on to be with the Lord.
Ravenhill was a man who proved that the church cannot operate without the Holy Spirit. The church dosn't need more music, more celebrities, we need the Holy Spirit. Love what Dr. Brown said at the end. Our relationship with Jesus must go deeper.
Amen! I started praying for local revival since July of last year when I saw Dr. Brown preaching at the Brownsville Revival. I will continue to pray until I see it or the Lord takes me home. I pray that I can see revival, not just for my own sake, but because we desperately need an awakening in the church, and the overflow of the Holy Spirit to bring lost sinners to Jesus.

I believe that GOD has been drawing HIS deeper. He is even deepening those who don’t know Him to be first. Some who are busy leading large churches are swallowed up in fame and they think they know Him but will be saved by fire. I’ve been meeting with just a few people and it’s been very beneficial to our enjoyment of God! We all share what we are seeing and hearing at the time as equal! It’s full and exciting and builds us up into a holy habitation for Him.
Hello, I hv long heard of the difficulties Detroit has faced and of the financial resources that hv been injected into it in the hope of bringing it afloat. The one component that has been over looked is prayer, Thank you for the reminder. I will join you in making petition to our Father for a true spiritual awakening. 🙏🌺

If there's anyone who knows how to pray reading this; please pray for me. I am the pastor of a small house church. I have no unction. My generation has never seen the glory of God. We have never known the church with God's manifest presence in the midst. We were never shown how to pray through. My doctrine is fine. My praying is weak. My preaching is worse. God help me. I don't want anyone to know my name. I'm terrified at the idea of being responsible for any more souls than I am already. But I want to pray. I want to really pray. If you pray for me, please pray that God place this grievous need as a thorn in my heart which cannot be removed, save for when the answer to prayer comes and I am clothed with power.
I am 69 years old. I first read Ravenhill in 1976. I have always greatly enjoyed his writings especially holiness.. The brother who witnessed to my family also spoke personally to Ravenhill on two occasions. Ravenhill was an interesting person but he was basically a Protestant who did not understand the biblical new birth. Ravenhill refused to acknowledge that Jesus was God alone but believed in a three person Godhead. He was not baptized properly and never received the baptism of the Holy Ghost. He was surely intense. One can be sincere but sincerely wrong. Ravenhill went to meet God having dismissed the baptism of the Holy Ghost. NOTE: Do not deify men but get into the Bible for yourself.

What a joy it must have been to have spent time with such a General in the faith. I see Dr Brown as such a man!
