It is highly recommended but slimes don't need to eat their favorite, so like honey slimes, double plorts for mint mango but if you feed them regular fruit you still get one plort

Good rules of thumb: First, buy the plort collector, then the garden, then you can mess with more corals, and upgrades.
Pretty as it is, the colour mod is going to be a real pain as you go along. There's too many different types of slimes. Being able to vac largos seems cool now, but it might be a problem when you start free range ranching. The golden largos are going to simply be overpowered. You might as well have an infinite money cheat. Part of the late game is the balance between crafting with plorts, and making money off them.

I play slime rancher I haven't played it in a while though,the first time I played it I had put one slime chorale next to the chick chorale the next thing I know the pink slimes are leaping over the fence to eat the chicks so I had to fully upgrade the fences so they couldn't get out, I think slime rancher is a really good game

The Plorts, (Little Colorful diamondish crystals) are of of the best ways to make money. you need to carry as many as you can from wild to turn in for money.

If you get the secret style DLC it will be really helpful with the color mod
to get crystal slimes you have to pop the rock gordo behind the area you find rad slimes and i think the plort below the gold in the market is glitch plorts
