Jai Guru Dev, Jai Masters. Jai Guru Dev is a traditional Hindu phrase that means Glory to the Great Teacher (the most accurate translation would be glory to the shining remover of darkness), where the great teacher here is generally considered to be the Divine Soul, while we, as human beings, are considered the individuated Soul. Jai Masters means Glory to the Masters, some of whom Singer refers to at times.

I appreciate the teaching. I do wish he would use examples that are not so trite, but I guess they’re easier places to start than the harder experiences such as rape, torture, prolonged gaslighting, especially if they’re current and ongoing or maybe worse, having to change how you behave and how you think of yourself to avoid said traumas.
I would like to know how you handle toxic people like that and how to handle someone with autism who you live with who doesn't understand boundaries no matter how much you try to explain in to them 🤷

We keep in the moment and do whats in front of us undestracted by past, future. Grateful this experience happened FOR us. Shift from I AM to I HAVE. There is not a single moment in our lives where we do not have everything. The world outside us will never make us happy. It is the thinking in our heads, not environmental circumstances, that makes us happy. Others cannot make us happy. Fears cant protect us. Our beliefs dont make us what we are. Our attachments dont make our lives exciting and secure. You neednt acquire what you already have. We live as source designed us: as life itself. So full of joy and gratitude that nothing or nobody HERE can steal our peace. Not even our mortality can stand in the way of our eternal joy, our eternal home, Gods presence -Salvation.

Heard if you do it that way, you have to come back (reincarnation). If you thought you had it bad this time around, the next time will be even worse. Your goal here is to do what your spirit contracted to do while in a human body. So, start experiencing things that make you happy. It doesn’t have to make sense to the people around you.
