Gender inequality remains an ongoing problem nowadays, and it is something that needs to be solved as soon as possible. We need to talk more about how women face challenges. These challenges happen because people have certain beliefs about what men and women can do. For example, when a man earns more money than a woman, he will become dominenet at home, as was said in the video, and it will make women do household jobs alone, which in turn will make them quit the job, as a result of which they cannot success in the workplace. I think that we need to teach our children from a young age about gender equality. In that way, we can avoid gender inequality some years later, and we will have a better society than we do today.

So this is Girl v/s boy
So in middle class families there thinking are very different. So they think that boys are better than girls. Why? I want to know the reason why they think that boys are better. Always when something happen it’s the fault of girls. Like what the fudge why always girls huh. When girls do watch something they will say what are you watching. And when boys are watching nothing no one will ask them anything. They think that girls can’t do anything only boys can stand let me tell you that girls are more intelligent than boys.boys they can’t do anything without any support. My family love boys than girls when I will ask why? They will tell nothing they will be silent. I am also a girl and no one can understand my feelings. I hate it why boys boys and boys it’s so irritating it’s like a torture. I am not hating boys but everyone should also understand that girl and boy is equal. This is so simple but they don’t understand it. They think that girls can only cook and do housework’s. But I am proud that I am a girl because I can do anything what I want. Girls do have periods, they also get pregnant and you know it’s so hard. The periods cramps it is so hurtful like sometimes you even want to cry. And do you know why God gave us this periods and pregnancy things because even God know that we girls are stronger than boys. We can do anything I want to spread this message through all the world 🌍 because in this world people are so mean. A lots of girls can’t go outside because of there family and because of boys. This is we called discrimination to all the girls. I want to change the mentality of this world. And if you are girl then help me do it. Spread this message through all the social media apps.

Is it just me, or is this video inadvertently saying that only women experience domestic violence?
    The video has two premises:
    1. Gender inequality is against women
    2. Gener inequality is THE cause of domestic violence (3:33-3:42, 4:00-4:30, 4:30-4:36)
With these, I can only conclude that women are the only ones who experience domestic violence. Did I miss something?
Edit: I don't mean to criticize the entire video. It's well made, and I agree with some of its points about socialization at a young age. I just have problems with the above point.

The Bible tells men to love their wives the same way how Christ loved us. Jesus died for us, so the way how the Bible tells men to treat women is extremely sacrificial.
The Bible also puts men and women as equals under God. It is said that God made both male and female in His image and likeness.

Not trying to be rude or anything but this video doesn't seem to be the whole part about gender inequality. (before I begin on this i want to say I don't think either gender has it better). I do agree with some parts but it is (in my opinion) downplaying men's problems. The video is (still in my opinion) generalizing the male community and saying that men will be picky at anything the wife does wrong (2:13). It does not cover the facts about the false accusations of abuse, divorces, and amounts of support support groups. Once again I know that they do cover some of the problems with men, but they do not nearly equate to the amount of facts about women's inequality.

Gender roles are socially constructed and imposed. There is nothing inherent in men’s dna that makes them more entitled, important, stronger, knowledgeable and nothing in women’s dna that makes them submissive, passive, etc. and thinking this way exacerbates inequality.

@@iheartlol90 just because one thinks this doesnt make it true. DNA is hard coded. Our bodies and genetic make up, physical attributes and abilities wouldnt differ so broadly if we were the same. Roles are necessary because this is how nature has coded our species. Imagining it doesnt matter perpetuates the rot we see happening in society. Woman are not men and men are not woman. When either sex tries to emulate the roles of the other this is where the imbalance in society happens.
There is proof showing we are different. Namely. Penises and vaginas. The absence of a uterus in men and high levels of testosterone naturally occuring in is enough proof.

Bullshit. Did you even understand the video? Gender roles create inequalty. If a little boy grows up seeing a certain thing being done by men instead of women, he will copy that and will grow up thinking that doing that certain thing is their role and if a woman did that "certain thing", he will stop her because he grew up thinking that only men can do that, only men have the right to do that.
Just like in racism, white kids grow up seeing people of the same race bully and belittle someone whose race is different, so they will grow up copying what they saw.
