    I would recommend a softer surface so you don't damage the tank while cleaning it. Even a couple of old rags to set it on would keep you from scratching the tank. Good info.

    Try throwing in a couple of handfuls of nuts and bolt and swish it around will also help the vinegar scrub off everything

    pour the gasline antifreeze heat,which is alcohol, in your first tank of fuel.alcohol is what will mix with both water and gas thus suspending and allowing minute amounts of water to run thru the carbs(s)

    Damn 20 bucks for vinegar, baking soda and few gallons of water huh ...cost me about about $5 lol

    Don’t do it it will damage your tank because it thins the metal and make leakage whenever u r riding on rough roads

      @@deathbysilence0 I just got an 82 Kawasaki kz750 not sure what model it is but I know it's the twin mine needs quite a bit of work I'm currently trying to either restore my tank which needs new patchwork welds and stuff and the whole inside and outside needs to be de rusted

    What kind of water? Tap? Distilled? Drinking water? Infant water? (RAIN?(LOL)) But seriously does it matter what water you use?

      Seth Foulk had mine in for a day in a half, I had some really bad varnish in mine, a brush was very necessary for me but who knows see what it looks like after you drain the water.
