A bit odd having the ad for food for an unsolved murder case. That's just me though, Adam. Nothing against you.
@@DavidLimofLimReport dude i felt the same, we went from a really heavy story and tone to a "Hey do you hate shopping, well Hello Fresh"
So what happened was that Ray Lewis said “see you next summer” and killed him until he was revived next summer by aps and captain underpants. So yeah don’t believe this guy, this is totally what happened!!!
Yeah, the wine bottle is a lethal weapon. So as soon as you crack somebody over the head with that, they’re allowed to defend them selves by any means necessary. If he was a real man, he wouldn’t have brought the wine bottle out and he would still be alive today.
@@12thMandalorian It's not that weird at all. Hello Fresh has been caught using monkeys as slaves. They've surely got a few murders under their belts to.
Imagine killing someone and your getaway car is a stretch limousine
Somehow even less inconspicuous than a white Bronco
Lol
Imagine having a criminal record (both did), getting in an altercation at a club with an NFL player .. Then pursuing him 200 yds when he has left (video said that is how far from the Club they were) .. And attacking his group with a Bottle (considered a deadly weapon in many states) ? Anytime you attack with what can be considered a deadly weapon you are rolling the dice with your life on the outcome. Lets see .. 1. Have fun when you are out.. don't get in fights 2. Don't chase someone 200 yds when they are trying to leave/end the conflict 3. Don't attack anyone with a deadly weapon.

How I found out that this incident happened was because of Barry McCockiner’s asterisk video of past Super Bowl champs, I wonder how different that Super Bowl would’ve been without Lewis on the field
None. Ray had many tackles in that Super Bowl, but Dilfer had 2 opportunities to throw for 3 TDs had he been GOOD, also Duane Starks(?) and Jamal Lewis had bigger impacts.
Ray is/was the heart and soul, but NOT very crucial
Plus, the Giants offense was absolute crap in Super Bowl 35
If Lewis had been convicted of murder, the Ravens probably wouldn't have made it to the SB, instead it likely would've been the Titans or the Raiders.

Just gotta correct one thing. At 6:54 The Ravens on the first ever season of Hard Knocks took place after their first Super Bowl, not before. HKs first was filmed in the 2001 offseason and training camp.

When the Ravens were destroying the Giants in the Super Bowl that year, all us Giants fans could say was ... at least we don't have a murderer on our team right now.
That game was a travesty. The Ravens openly bragged in the media all week about knocking out McNair and other QBs out with their cheap shots and they collectively vowed that Kerry Collins "the racist" (more BS) was going to be next in a bad way. First series of the game saw cheap shots and late hits on Collins with no reaction from the asshole referees. What i think happened is Ray defended his friends and punched one of those guys, then his friends started stabbing and he got himself out of the situation. The bystanders only got aware of the altercation when things got out of hand when they were stabbing which is why no one saw Ray doing anything. As soon as they were leaving Ray called his lawyer and he advised him to ditch the suit and don’t help with the investigation.

Hard Knocks was filmed the year AFTER the Ravens won the Super Bowl.
"nobody saw him fighting" you just said earlier in the video that a witness said, they saw him throw a punch that puts him in the direct vicinity of the two men that were stabbed
Ray openly stated that professional athletes need to have a posse to take fall for them, he said this on national television for Christ's sake.
@KMcNally117 I'm almost certain Ray said it first, giving advice to Pac Man I think.
I remember Warren Sapp saying it as well on some sports talk show within the last 10 years or so? I may he be wrong on the when there, but I'm pretty sure it was after he retired and started a TV analyst gig, that whole segment of him explaining it was quite comical.
@@mylessmith5866 I don't know about Sapp, but someone recorded Chris Carter (I did not see that coming) giving that same advice at the NL rookie symposium.
Well yeah, think about it.. so many "normal" people that aren't celebrities obsess over celebs, start fights, etc.. If some crazy shit happens, like it did with Ray.. you need other people to handle it for you, so they themselves don't get in trouble and affect their career.
@@hhaste that's not what a "Fall guy" is though. Its one thing to have a crew watching your back and trying to keep you out of trouble. Even then, if you find yourself fin the middle of trouble a lot, you need to ask yourself some questions.
A fall guy is there to take the rap for when you do illegal stuff. Like get pulled over for drunk driving with an unregistered gun. The fall guy switches seats with you and says the gun is his.
I never thought that Ray killed anyone, but he did lie to the police. He paid for it, but those other two were apparently just defending themselves.
Right... He just knocks women out cold in elevators. He is a POS
Little more involved imo
imagine killing two people and pleading to Obstruction
AND it's only a misdemeanor?! Dafuk
How'd you come up with that after watching the video
Ray's two companions did the killings, and when it became clear that Ray wasn't a perpetrator, the prosecution struck a deal that dropped his murder charges and made him the key witness. He testified against his friends, who were adamant that they killed in self-defense. A jury agreed, acquitting them after only 5 hours of deliberation.
I was always biased as a Ravens fan about the topic, but I always assumed Ray Lewis was innocent of murder. He was absolutely guilty of obstruction of justice for helping his friends escape. Which he was punished for, so he's paid his dues. His friends should've served some jail time for manslaughter because if Ray was already looking for a way out and they continued the altercation, the self defense would only be true if they were just fighting back while trying to retreat to a safer place.
You think Ray Lewis, the most electric, high-energy, and aggressive mfs to ever play in the NFL calmy stood against the limo while mayhem ensued?!? I'm not sure if "biased" best describes you.
That's rather flawed reasoning. You could easily say why would someone who was on the career trajectory he was throw away his life like that? Or if you were one of the other two guys in his entourage, wouldn't it be easier to murder someone if someone like Ray Lewis had your back? @@mohnjarx7801
@@mohnjarx7801There is literally no account of the incident that says he was anywhere near the fighting. Don't mistake what someone plays like on the field for how they are in real life.
@@mohnjarx7801 Ravens fan here, I don't think he was standing by but I also don't think he actually did it, himself. I think he was right next to the guy being stabbed, by one of his bodyguards/buddies. That's why his white suit had blood on it and why it was thrown away. He wouldn't risk his entire career and life by doing it himself but I can almost guarantee he was right there in the guys face.

What’s still puzzling to me not about the case itself because I do believe Ray Lewis was innocent. But the fact that the trial sped up as quickly as it did and also not to mention Paul Tagliabue the commissioner at the time only fine him rather than try to suspend him for personal conduct as we all know, Roger Goodell suspend people even if they are proven innocent. The two things that everyone should takeaway from this story is
1) when you evolve in life you need to scrutinize those from your past life that you continue to associate with.
2) when you evolve in life you need to scrutinize the situations you are placed in
we're CONSTANTLY evolving as both an individual AND as a collective from start to finish; just like everything else in life/perceived reality ( that is, from birth to death)... femtosecond by femtosecond... what the fuck do you mean by evolve? Because via your assertion we will all be lost within ourselves, scrutinizing in never-ending fashion AND thus never actually living and/or experiencing life AT ALL. It's important to subject oneself to both introspection/extrospection, but to do so unrelentingly will ultimately result in suboptimality and death... Although the essence of what you're attempting to state here is probably something of a positive takeaway haha. (gulp). sorry

I believe this case is similar to C-Murder’s case. Something jumps off and their friends get involved. Ray and C-Murder just happened to be there and witnessed what happened. But they will never tell who did it.
