I cant stop listening to this album its so good. Cant wait to see what energy pt 2 has to bring.

Amazing Album Wonderful band

This is one of the best releases of this year.
Thank you dude! Including Iron Maiden this year as well! \m/
Went to Up the Hammers in Greece and discovered these guys! Just awesome.
Thank you for helping make the band's second time at Up The Hammers one to remember! \m/
There is a lot of talent on display here.
Thank you! Appreciate the support as always! \m/
That intro is SUPERB. Very Queen - Innuendo esque!
Thank you! It's very grandiose and feels good to come out on stage to :D \m/
Perfect album
Been listening to "The Artifice" on repeat all day. What a killer track!
Any chance you'll be at one of our shows in May to hear it live? \m/

@@hostagecrisis I definitely will sir!
i still dont know wheater the bands signed contract with devil, or metal music is just something blessed by our God. Its pure perfection! nothing is even close to metal music. Splendid!
There may have been some paperwork involved ;D \m/
This one Is excelente! It's unique in it's own right. 🎆🌋🌋
Thanks dude! It has certainly set a bar #defendmetal
Well done sisters!
This is good.
This is so fucking good!! Congrats to the band!!
An extraordinary prog power metal sound, full of armonies, melodic guitars & solid work on drums & bass arrangements! Keep on going forward in this fantastic way !!!! Abrazo power desde Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Another awesome offering by this Londoners! Shame on thse that turned their thumbs down!`nuff said!
Ha! We can't win them all but those we do more than keep us going! \m/
So much progress from the last album, on every level. Congrats & Keep On Running😉
Thank you! I'm happy you enjoyed the progression, as well as my debut input into Seven Sisters \m/
Amazing
@Alberto thanks for enjoying!
Fantastic power metal with progressive overtones!
Thanks dude! Really happy you like the tunes \m/
I hate it when producers and audio engineers always jack their jaws about long songs being a problem in metal but this band is a prime example of letting the artist do their damn thing and letting the commercial 3 minute song agenda go fuck itself. Fantastic album, front to back! I can't wait for Pt. 2.
The Artifice might be "too" damn good. I can't get that damn chorus out of my head.
@@joeyskar Happy that you're enjoying it as much as you do! :D
That's one of the beautiful things of our writing process, we've written and record all ourselves without any outside influence. Horizon's Eye was originally going to be verrry different and probably more commercial, until we heard the flamenco and thought screw it let's go with that! I think we made the right choice as well \m/
@@hostagecrisis I emailed you guys about picking up a vinyl, shoot me a message on my Gmail. It's the email on the description of this video that I sent it to.
I've been looking forward to this for a while. I'm halfway through and I'm already excited for part 2! Good stuff!
So are we! Fingers crossed the gap between releases won't be so long
NICE ...
Really happy you enjoy it! Thank you!!
@@hostagecrisis greets guys ...
Good stuff! I like the album art too.
Like the band itself, we kept it retro and went with a physical oil painting over digitised artwork and I think the result speaks for itself!
Have you checked out the art for our previous albums?
Hella stoked in this! Defs cranking this at my Halloween party. Nice job guys!
That's gonna be a banging metal Halloween party :D
Fucking great álbum!! Greetings from México!!!!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘

Thank you for this great album and your gig at Halloween in my home town pig city. It was my best concert in 2022! Also thx for your project of Phantom Spell! Can't wait till P2!

Will you have the vinyls of the new album on board at the KIT Rising?
@@roberts.7503 yo, unfortunately vinyl won't be available until April! There's been a worldwide shortage of material to make vinyl records and the Iron Maidens and Metallicas of the world are at the front of the queue!
We will have CDSs and cassettes (if you're totally old school!) But you can preorder vinyl so as soon as we have it, jt will go straight to you!

Muchos gracias!
Killer album 💣🤘🤘🤘
Thank you! I'm glad you appreciate it! #powerandglory #defendmetal
Man I'm surprised this album doesn't have more views. Don't get me wrong, I like a lot of albums on this channel, but this one is clearly a cut above. The melodies, the vocals, even the lyrics themselves. Deserves way more attention. Listen to the end of The Artifice at 10:47 and tell me this ain't next level.
Goddamn these guys are talented!!!
Thank you dude! Three albums in and hopefully looking to showcase more of it soon! Have you heard our other albums on this channel yet? \m/
Just saw them live in Berlin with Riot City
We miss those times! \m/
I've been listening to this one a ton since my CD copy arrived. Great album and good follow-up to their last release. The vocals were already enjoyable previously, but I feel like they really stepped up another notch on this release (some of the vocal melodies are so wonderful). "Horizon's Eye" is my standout..... Thanks!
Lead singer Kyle will love this. Not bad considering he wasn't meant to be the singer! ;) #defendmetal
Reminds a bit of Adramelch - Irae Melanox!
That's a new one for me to listen to, thanks!
Great melodic progressive metal coming from the united kingdom reminds me a lot of early influences of 1980 era"Iron Maiden"(U.K.) and 1984 era "Queensryche"(USA) with elements of 1985 early "Fates Warning"(USA)!!! Really great stuff, I'm hooked!!! Waiting for "Part 2" to be released now!!!! "Seven Sisters" is that kind of band to keep your eye on for they might get bigger and more popular in the coming years in comeback album "2023" and so forth!!!! They are that great!!!!
True quality!
Thanks dude! Do you have a favourite song among them?
@@hostagecrisis Nope, aimed at the whole album!
By any chance, do you have p1nk acid boots on?
@@creacha You have NO idea how happy it makes me that someone FINALLY gets the reference!!! \m/ Maybe not the boots but Seven Sisters have a pink shirt deliberately dubbed the 'Monstrosity'
@@hostagecrisis There are high fantasy elements; with crystals, seers and fortune. There's the despair in the lyricist's voice, but we're in space, the final frontier. It's a pretty full-on package. It's fun to cast your mind out into the ALIENS universe, the Expanse, the Eldar from Warhammer 40K, etc.. Is there a particular sci-fi setting you match it with most closely?
@@creacha with the Aliens again ;D now you mention it I do get very Aeldari vibes from Kyle lyrics and the overall aesthetic! Crystals and soul stones and the like! I'm not sure if there is a specific universe but I know Kyle is big on fantasy and Graeme collects 40k. That said, this is a concept album unique to us because our previous records have been based myth and fantasy whereas soafs is completely a creation of Kyle's mind, that and some sick bass lines from me too \m/
It's not often that i just pop an album without doing anything besides listening to it -- not working/reading/cleaning/playing a game... Well, this is one of those i play just to enjoy, feel feelings, play conductor & lose my shit jumping all over my apartment to 🤣❤🔥🤘
Thank you, dude! Though now I can see images of slowly dusting the house to Truth's Burden! \m/

Nice, you can totally tell the guitarist was inspired by Ritchie Blackmore 🤘🤘
I think he will appreciate that! \m/
Brilliant! Great song writing, fantastic story telling, stellar vocals and musicianship. Has a lot of feeling and creativity! Love the use of both electric and acoustic guitar. All the best to a great new band!
Hey there thank you for enjoying the songs so much! Not just because it was my first album with the group but I think this record really demonstrates a pushing of boundaries whilst still being decidedly Seven Sisters. I like to think each album has a distinctive essence that separates them from each other, if you've given our other stuff a spin, what do you think?
@@hostagecrisis I just bought favourites from each album on Itunes. I love them all. The music reminds me in ways of early Iron Maiden and early Judas Priest, but has its own unique, creative vibe. Feels to me a bit like a modern take on old Welsh bards. The vocal melodies are great. Love the story-telling. Musicianship is all top notch all around. Only small observation of the first album would be that the lead guitar tone isn't quite as good on that album as it is on the others. Whatever it was, it's better on the next two albums; though, so fixed :) I've been sick as hell and in isolation for a year now, so I can't thank you guys enough for the fantastic music. It's helping keep my spirits up. God be with you.
P.S. This latest album is my favourite. Looking forward to Part Two.
@Arc333Angel thanks dude I really appreciate the accolades as I'm sure Kyle, Graeme and Sam to too! I'm looking forward to part 2 as well and who is to say there won't be more parts? Ha!
I'm happy that the band had the chance to grow from the first album, I can't really pick a fave album because they are on frequent rotation between the top spot. A great thing about being a fan before joining is that I get to enjoy the music as a fan as well as a musician!
This album is amazing
Thanks! Favourite track?
@@hostagecrisis horizon’s eye. I’ve been sharing it with fellow metal fans. We all love it! The vocals, the solo and changes in the middle, the writing, all of it is top notch IMO.
@@soulfire2588 thanks man, it's a beauty to play live! It was going to sound verrrry different originally but I think we made the right choice in taking it in the way we did :D
Holy Mother of Forks... ! OOO_o
Bring a shackle across our wilting vast of conquering placement following faiths iniquities waits in the back of the catalyst to overturn requim and reveal soveirgnty.
Influences of this band??
I'd say 80's Iron Maiden, Rush, 70's heavy metal, and perhaps a bit of Queen even, and finally prog rock. At least this is how it feels to me.
Personally the most relevant influence for me (as the bassist) is Steve Harris of obvious Maiden fame. I think Graeme (lead guitars) would cite Yngwie Malmsteen, Kyle (singer, lead guitars) would probably go for Thin Lizzy among others and Sam (drummer) is BIG on Blind Guardian and Kamelot so hopefully you find a bit of each in these songs!
Power and Glory,

Day 52 of asking for NWOTHM festival. One week of the best NWOTHM artists.
МУЗЫКА 80 ГОДОВ шикарно исполнено но где ваша работа
СОНАТА АРКТИКА просто копия
does it sound to anyone else like a sonata artica
We will certainly appreciate that comparison thank you!
SONATA ARTICA is good but they can only wish to sound like this.
The Artifice sounds totally 80s Scandi. Europe meets Treat. great stuff...
Amazing! Thank you and Defend Metal!
Fucking great album!
Taken from Kyle's interview with Metal Temple
The story is set in the future and it centres around a planet called The Great Library. This library/planet hybrid was built by humans that left Earth in search of a new home. On their pilgrimage they discover an alien consciousness trapped in a crystal (which is what The Crystal Temple single focuses on) and with its guidance they travel to the Andromeda galaxy and build the Great Library. Many years later our main character is about to inherit her position as a Librarian of The Great Library when she is contacted by the alien consciousness, long since forgotten in the centre of the planet, and the events that follow are what our next two albums will be about! It’s a goofy story I’m writing by myself. I’m having lots of fun with it but it’s a long process because I’m not a practiced wordsmith. I certainly don’t like to make things easy for myself…
@@hostagecrisis thank you, bro🤟
@@blindguard123 no worries! I'm pestering Kyle to flesh it out a bit more.
If you didn't know, all of our records are conceptual in nature. Our self titled debut if based around the ancient Greek myth of the Pleiades, the seven daughters of Atlas, the sky titan (NOTwhere we got the band name from!) While the Cauldron and the Cross is based on the legend of King Arthur, taking inspiration from the book Mists of Avalon
@@hostagecrisis, oh, nice, Im reading the Greek myths at the moment. Do you have the lyrics somewhere online? I couldn't find any for the last album.
