I never have down days. I think about God , as I do he just keeps getting bigger and better. His word teaches ask seek knock and the doors open. Worrying puts problems in God's chair. Heaven is paved with gold not because it's valuable but just because it's there.

Cait I know I’m late, I just found your channel and have binged 3 videos. Each one changed my perspective and helped me I am actually reading Mathew right now and I was already in chapter 12 when I passed and did my daily stuff and saw this on CZcams. I almost cried when you showed the part on focusing on the present cause I had just read the worrying part when I wasn’t worried I had started Mathew cause I just wanted to finish a book and had went to a ‘random’ book. I had read others but didn’t feel much Now I do and the Holy Spirit showed me it Thank u for making this,it helps me have hope when I’m worried daily,God bless you. ❤

Well said! One of the reasons it's so important to hide His word in our hearts, is found in Ps 19:14. "Let the words of my mouth, and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer." How can we meditate on the good things of His word if we don't know it? I too, have complex ptsd, as well as several other mental health issues, due to the trauma I’ve endured throughout my life and even in my current situation. I’ve felt hopeless, lost, suffocating, for over 2 months, due to my ex fiancé’s decision to suddenly end our relationship, out of his own selfishness. I’ve felt “stuck” & as if there’s nothing I can do to pull out of this mindset where I feel as though I’m drowning in despair & grief. But there is & I now feel as though the Lord is telling me to reach deeper into my faith in Him and also, to begin the work I need to do (through His guidance) to help myself, as well. Matthew 6:24-34 is EXACTLY what I needed to hear. I have been struggling with what I should do about my job (which I want to leave because it is unfulfilling but also safe). I journaled about it and wrote that I would pray on it before I made a decision. And then I watched this video and you brought me to the Bible which told me exactly what I needed to hear; to have faith and serve God through my career, and he will reward me with what I need. Cait, take some self care or you may have a nervous breakdown, I know you have mental health problems, so do i and thankyou for sharing, so many of us these days have mental health issues and it seems to be part of the western way of life and is encoraged by peer pressure, poverty, pressure to 'conform' (what ever that means) and FOMO(Fear Off Missing Out), and as you have said, no amount of worrying will make a jotts difference, sometimes we need to step back and just have a day, I often brake my day into 2 like Churchill did, snatching two hours sleep early afternoon then working on varius projects until about 8 o'clock, brake your task down to manageable chunks, you don't eat a whole stake in one go, you cut it into small pieces first, think of it like that(sorry if you are vegan) I have issues with my memory to and it has cost me jobs and relationships, I love your podcast, they are a tonic and a breath of fresh air as are you, please keep going
I believe in God 100 percent ,but sometimes I feel that my mistakes or bad decisions will make God angry at me and that will cause for him to stop caring for me.
I have the same fear. I hope you know you are not alone in that. I think many people feel so much shame about something, they can't believe God would forgive them. Sometimes, I feel like I deserve "punishment" for my mistakes. But I think, if you feel like that too, you have already shown repentance. You have already turned away from sin and recognize how destructive it is. Now it's time to turn toward grace. Jesus saved us from God's punishment because he bore our sins. It's amazing to think about. Every day, I understand this a little more deeply and am so profoundly grateful.

Cait, take some self care or you may have a nervous breakdown, I know you have mental health problems, so do i and thankyou for sharing, so many of us these days have mental health issues and it seems to be part of the western way of life and is encoraged by peer pressure, poverty, pressure to 'conform' (what ever that means) and FOMO(Fear Off Missing Out), and as you have said, no amount of worrying will make a jotts difference, sometimes we need to step back and just have a day, I often brake my day into 2 like Churchill did, snatching two hours sleep early afternoon then working on varius projects until about 8 o'clock, brake your task down to manageable chunks, you don't eat a whole stake in one go, you cut it into small pieces first, think of it like that(sorry if you are vegan) I have issues with my memory to and it has cost me jobs and relationships, I love your podcast, they are a tonic and a breath of fresh air as are you, please keep going
I believe in God 100 percent ,but sometimes I feel that my mistakes or bad decisions will make God angry at me and that will cause for him to stop caring for me.
I have the same fear. I hope you know you are not alone in that. I think many people feel so much shame about something, they can't believe God would forgive them. Sometimes, I feel like I deserve "punishment" for my mistakes. But I think, if you feel like that too, you have already shown repentance. You have already turned away from sin and recognize how destructive it is. Now it's time to turn toward grace. Jesus saved us from God's punishment because he bore our sins. It's amazing to think about. Every day, I understand this a little more deeply and am so profoundly grateful.
