Tbh when Phil got beat on the river by that ace and then when he was on the ground meditating to cool off the inferno, Man I felt that right in my very core of my soul.
If you play poker long enough in your life and lose enough money from bad beats on the river, you simply just understand exactly the vibe that must be flowing through Phil's veins in that moment.
I got to say he bounced back and signed the shirt and was handshakes and respect like an absolute top notch poker pro.

As much as I love seeing him lose, it sucks to have someone at the table that always has a better hand than you. It feels like all the luck is in their corner. No way Phil could have laid that hand down.
He did the right thing. I don't like seeing him lose when he plays well and is acting right. It's only individual hands I like seeing him lose in or vs people in particular he's been rude against. I don't get the continued hate and wanting to see someone suffer tbh

Dude, i honestly do feel bad for phil. He did play well, but he’s right that it’s hard to get anyone to fold these days. I just played the other day and got sucked out on the river almost every hand, got called on an all in i had aces and lost to 4/5 when they caught a 5 on the river. Frustrating, but thats the game i guess lol.

I give credit to both Phill and Andy. Andy acted like a respectable young man after he knocked Phil out. Most importantly he showed himself to not be a poor winner. I'm old so I like the old school players however that said, just like when my "old school players" were the "new guys"...well it's been a couple decades and the new school play style is most definitely different from the old school play style. Just the natural progression of life in general. 🙂
If Phil hadn't made a fuss and taken the beat like a pro everyone would be on his side here. He got it in good. He played well. Villain made a mistake and didn't read the situation well given all that had gone before.

I recently joined Club WPT and it is a rip off. It folds your premuim hands after you put your chips in or freezes your action so you lose, and here's a special, a ghostly phantom check mark shows up in your sitout box so they can manipulate the outcome. When you contact them they blame it on their customers and refuse to fix it. Can you imagine them doing this to a pro in a TC Tourney.
In war you show no weakness to your enemies... Phil has to learn
I was laughing hysterically while Phil thought he was playing good with a 10, 7 against Mclean with the trip Queens, Phil the expert BEST poker player in the world Owning the younglings, LOL or so he says, I love to see Ego lose
The bluff against the trip Queens worked for his image. He lost the minimum there (queens just called all the way...no raise) and also showed the table that he was able to make some bluffs when the time was right. It is part of the reason that he was able to get the AJ to shove against his queens. If he had been playing nitty its an easy fold. So I don't see anything wrong with the play. They guy either had trip queens or was floating him with 55 or an Ace high. The triple barrel would have gotten him off most hands and Phil would have won. Very standard play in position.
Fail a script he can't play with the young kids. They don't play like the old players played. They're not afraid to take a chance. He's used to playing with people that he know what they have in their hands. You don't know what these guys have gotten their hands. He'll never be able to play with these young kids. He might as well pack it up and quit.
