This season on "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," the women are faced with new trials and tribulations that test their close-knit friendships. In the midst of their newfound familial peace, Melissa is thrown a curve ball when Joe and Teresa decide to open a family restaurant without consulting her. Dolores has finally found the man of her dreams, but when her ex-husband asks to move back home, it jeopardizes her own romantic future. After finding overwhelming success with her book and speaking engagements, Siggy decides it's time to take her career to the next level. Ironically, this causes relationship issues of her own as her husband questions her commitment to work-life balance. Meanwhile, as Teresa comes to terms with life as a single parent with Joe in prison, her world becomes further fractured by the heartbreaking and sudden death of her mother. The dynamic of the group gets thrown off-course when Danielle Staub re-enters the picture after years of total absence, threatening a 20-year friendship between Teresa and Dolores. I wanted to believe Danielle had changed. Clearly from her behavior at her wedding and how she treated those around her also her constant reference to using her now ex husbands money and credit cards she hasn’t changed. That makes me sad because I really wanted to root for her now that she returned to the show.

I think Tre is really trying to make up for following Don Caro's lead in the first couple of seasons. That, and she probably feels bad about tipping the table over in front of Danielle's kids (even though Dani insisted on them staying in the room). Tre is just back from being away and wants things calm and no fighting so she is trying her best to keep everyone happy. Plus, Margaret's mouth was in overload this season just saying whatever the crap she wanted in an effort to be funny. I like Marge but sometimes she isn't funny, she is just brash and rude.

Jennifer's gift of the ancient Turkish dagger was one of the best moments of the season so far! Jackie looked truly touched by it Jennifer paused long enough for her to really believe in it then Pow! It was just perfect! And Margret sat there with nothing was also a nice touch! It took me back to when she intentionally left Stiggy and Delores out of the floating memorial wreath the year before because that was such a low and calculated move. No matter how much you apologize you can't get moments like that back I totally understood why they were so hurt, particularly Delores. The Turkish dagger deserves a spot in the WWHL set for sure! I like how things are building up between Jennifer and Margret it's bringing out Margret's bad side. Siggy must be sat at home with her voodoo doll feeling immensely happy!
