He retired from Collegiate wrestling. He has absolutely nothing to prove!! If you're the greatest wrestler in the world, what could you get from winning ANOTHER National Championship? He'd be more at risk for a loss, if nothing else. Ridge Lovett pinned Tariq twice...actually. It amazes how blind some referee's are in BIG matches. From 2018 Nattys, I thought Tariq would win a National Championship at some time.

I have NO idea what my Hawkeyes have to do to be successful in the Nationals. Since Spencer Lee got there, he's the ONLY National Champion they've had..and he's had 3, and would have had 4 if his legs weren't so messed up. And YES, he would had handled Suriano with no problem. Suriano knew Lee was going to have to have surgery. They had gotten so bad, he couldn't even move from side to side anymore. I know, I've had 2 knee replacements myself. That's exactly why he moved down to 125. Lee handled that weight Class so easily, that he knew he could at least beat everybody else in 125, except maybe Glory, and it was a good match. They're going to have to change Coaches. The Brands have won several Championships at Iowa, but it's becoming apparent that they are just outclassed by PSU. It sounds insane, but Spencer Lee will take that program over, and get some fresh minds in the program. Lee and the guy that ran his wrestling Club back in Pennsylvania sounds like a winning combination. Somethings gotta give....now.

This is wrong. Davison isnt the first to take gable down in 2 years. Kervliet of PSU got him last year.

He was seeded ahead of Chad red i think
Chad Red didn’t perform the best at big tens hence the 19 seed. Grant Willits not only made the podium for the first time ever but prevented Nebraska from making history with having Chad Red become their first five time All American.
