The studio version of this song just doesn't capture the spirit and energy of the song like this one does.
Mumford and Sons and Dawes. Both absolutely great bands in their own right. But when together, they from the most beautiful harmony I've ever heard since the Eagles. Much, much respect.
That feeling you get, chills, bumps. That feeling, the one that comes in at 4:05.....that...that's the soul.
Just heard this song the other day for the first time and instantly thought it had a Mumford and Sons vibe. This is perfect.

Two of the best new bands to come around in years playing together. Am i just a little partial to Dawes? Yes. Do I recognize the genius and talent in both bands? Damn right I do. For those of you bashing Mumford and Sons I think you should defer to Dawes' sensibilities here. I think they decided who to jam with for a reason. Maybe my being a bass player gives me just a bit more insight but the is just magical to me.
There are so many amazing moments in this video. Seeing Taylor get so excited at the beginning, hearing Marcus sing their song, seeing the Mumford crew wail the song at 4:06, watching Taylor let go of the guitar at the end and belt out the song. Gives me goosebumps every time.

How good the singer of Dawes must have felt when the other guys were singing his song near the end...This is music!
This literally almost made me cry, seeing these two artists collaborate on such a beautiful song, such a genuine song is soul-moving. I saw the title of the video and could not help from smiling. Thank you Dawes and Mumford & Sons and all the other artists out there who manifest their heart and soul through magical songs like this one.
4:05 til 4:14 -The sheer amount of EPIC contained in these few seconds is one of the best things I've ever heard in my life. The harmonics... it tingles. LOVE it.

Saw Dawes supporting Mumford in Birmingham in December. Easily one of the best concerts I've ever been too. Since bought both Dawes albums, love their stuff!! This is just stunning :-)

You're likely to find a lot more of them together, too! They kind of had a bromance and toured together for part of the Spring and most of the Summer of 2012. It gave me a chance to see two of my favorite bands live together, so I loved it!
