hes a pro slayer, not neccessarily pro asura... he has points in berserker and blademaster, like gore cross and aerial chain slash... his skill mainly came from his mastery at using basic combos and maneuvering well and timing... his asura skills were mainly for big damage...

No, he enchanted his sword with the element, the sword is used for the hitstun and effect.
