For those that don't know this is called American Bando ,,,popularized by Dr.Myg Gyi of Washington DC back in the med 1960 ,,,He studied under many instructors with some other guys and development this Art,,,it is called Bando because it a Burma fighting syle ,,,as the people of Burma use Bando fighting for real until many of them got murdered for knowing deference skills,,,and He know the importance of these skills and when and rediscovered them,,,along with the conditioning exercise for bone and skin touching without roughing,,,,He is a Cool Old Dude and He also was a teacher of the Late karate man Joe Lewis
,,,,And they call him the founder of Kickboxing,,,,yes he studied Boxing also,,,That's what real martial arts enthusiastic minds do ,,,learn all they can and find the best of all they can in the styles they learn
It's nice to see the Animal forms in practice. Some might make fun of this. I assure you..... breaking a coconut with one knuckle, palms or any part of your body..... you better be practiced and in shape. Or you will be injured. This is what separated the weak from the long term students. You decided early you had it or did not.
This is not just Tiger and Boar and is not Snow Tiger. This is a sampling of responses from ( in order of demonstration) the American Bando Association animal systems of Tiger, Boar, Cobra, Python and Eagle.
