I’m really looking forward to this! My father was an American Soldier, a Ranger at Normandy. What he and the Allies accomplished is legend status! I remember his description of the battle and among that is the BB’s Arkansas and Texas pre bombardment of La Pointe Du Hoc. He said the sound of the big guns from the water was indescribable!
I was wondering about asymmetric battles. Will this mode return after its current timer runs out? I’m asking this because it is stated in the dockyard mission panel that even during the last two phases, ‘Last Shot’ and ‘Norfolk’s Gem’, asymmetric battles will be available. However, it is also mentioned that the asymmetric battles themselves will only last for 28 days. It’s not a big deal, but I was just curious.
Asymmetric Battles will end with the release of Update 13.4, the conditions of all the missions were just set to be the same. The conditions will be updated once the temporary battle type ends.

@WorldofWarshipsOfficialChannel Wow, you guys really don't like your players do you? Very popular game mode - yea make it temporary and don't even let it run for duration of dockyard. Interesting.
@@bikeguy3034 Don't be so harsh. Its not about liking or disliking. If we keep this mode forever, we might as well kiss randoms and ranked goodbye, because people would slowly switch to easier grinding methods. And then, reasons for competitive nature of this game would slowly disappear. It is much more fun for modes to cycle in and out of the game, for people to have something to look forward to. For example, now i look forward to airship escorts.

I tried the new operation, the idea is fantastic, but in my opinion, it is too hard for now, need to be fixed.

You guys working on removing subs yet?
Subs are a great idea. I think adding new ways to play the game is good. But the execution of subs suck.
I think the subs should be a little more like the spy from tf2. It should take like at least lose 75% of it's health when it gets detected.
Because if they make it so subs need super skill it would be better. Currently subs have the detectibility of japanese destroyers, the range of japanese battleships, the guns of soviet battleships and the health of soviet battleships.
I mean at least the carriers get sunked easily when they are found, but subs can just dive and turn around.
