Thanks so much Mike! I appreciate such positive feedback!
Thanks for the tour. You put in a lot of work into your rig and made it your own. Im surprised OGT doesn't take your ideas and make a "Beast" trim line
That would be sweet @naqueal! Thanks for watching and the feedback!
Quite remarkable what you have accomplished here! Brilliant, actually.
Good for you 👍 👏 👌
Thanks a bunch Colin! I appreciate the positive feedback!
Yeah your the man with the plan great job
Thanks Scott, I really appreciate the positive feedback. Thanks for watching and subscribing.
I like this trailer, very compact and durable design for inside out waterproof
Thanks a bunch for watching and commenting! I appreciate it.

Thanks a bunch Lyn! I really appreciate the positive feedback. Thanks for watching!
Unbelievable additions to your rig, we have the Pando 2.0.... your attention to detail is amazing. When the apocalypse comes around you are well prepared sir, much respect. Hope to see you out there somewhere, sometime.
Thanks a bunch @mikeyc181! I really appreciate the positive feedback. Much success to you in your expeditions!
Unbelievable!!! Your attention to detail is impressive. Your trailer looks insane and is definitely a BEAST! I'll be sure to reference this video again when I start to customize my trailer. Good luck with your endeavor and hopefully we'll run into each other. 🤙
Thanks a bunch @offroadexcitement9794! I really appreciate the positive feedback! Thanks for watching, subscribing, and commenting too.

Thanks a bunch Roy, I really appreciate the positive feedback!
This is very ingenious. Awesome work.
Too bad you’re not my neighbor 😂. Jokes aside beautiful work, everything you did was A-1…
Thanks a bunch Marty, I really appreciate the positive feedback! Thanks for watching and subscribing! I hope to do an update to this video as I’ve made a few more mods to the trailer lately.
LEGAL NOTICE: I am searching for a rationale to sue you to try and recover at least some of the money I am spending to replicate features that you have added to your OGT. I am thinking something like “attractive nuisance” theory. Also, thanks to you, some of my neighbors are speculating that I have started a relationship with the Amazon delivery person.
Fletcher, that’s hilarious! I know what you mean about Amazon deliveries. I think they started stopping by my house everyday out of habit even on days when I had no deliveries! Best of luck with your upgrades! I would love to see the results, as you have time to post photos.
don't think there's any legal grounds to sue, this world is upside down lately to think one can try to sue someone..
on another note think this setup is cool and is for bugging out if the "SHFT" comes..
l like this setup myself
Beautiful, BEAST 😄
Thanks a bunch Diane! I really appreciate the positive feedback.
@@GottaHaveIt Great job! Looks amazing!
I researched the Tacoma Narrows bridge! 😂😂😂
Yay, Congratulations 🎊🎈🍾🎉
Freakin awesome!!!!
Thanks a bunch Brian, I really appreciate the positive feedback! Thanks for watching and subscribing.
Unbelievable and amazing OCD. Bravo!
Thanks Kevin, I appreciate the positive feedback and the psych analysis!
@@GottaHaveIt How does your 4Runner handle the weight? I used 4Runners and Tacomas for years pulling a similar but lighter trailer and it would cut my gas mileage in half once I hit the mountains.
Kevin, my 4Runner is a V8 rated at 7,300 lb towing capacity. This trailer is about half that. It certainly burns more gas this trailer but I would estimate about 25-30% more. I live in Texas and so naturally we don’t have many mountain here and I haven’t taken it out of state so far. So, I can’t say for sure. I would eliminate my water and gas reserves if I was headed through the mountains.
@@GottaHaveIt Thanks. I also live in Texas and can't imagine camping here without A/C. Do you? Do you have any experience with the 12V A/Cs?
I did a bunch of research and decided on this unit. It’s rather expensive so I haven’t pulled the trigger on it yet but this is the one I am planning on installing on my camper - nomadicinnovations.com/products/x2-model. I just saw that they now have a newer model, the X3, that is even more expensive. I’ll have to do some research to see if the new unit is worth the extra $$$.
One word: Respect!. Well done. Thank you for sharing>
Thanks a bunch @joshuatoledo8844! I really alleviate it.
Very nice, sir.
Thanks a bunch @marcushenry8526! I appreciate it.
Now we are talking !
Thanks a bunch Lance! I really appreciate the positive feedback!
I like the way u think
Thanks a bunch THEEP time! I really appreciate the positive feedback.
Like this !
Thanks again!
Hello from Northern Canada. Well done, and thanks for sharing!! I have to remove my awning to store it in my garage. Any recommendations on quick releases to quickly remove and reinstall the awning when needed?
Dave, I have the same problem and haven’t addressed it yet. I certainly think it’s possible to do. I’ll let you know if I come up with an idea. Please do the same. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Very well done!!
I very interested in how you set up the Blink cameras. Do they run off a hotspot ?
@jdhay3215, thanks a bunch for the positive feedback, I really appreciate it. First, I bought one of these to provide WiFi distribution. amzn.to/4fnwDmf. The other half of the equation is one of these with a T-mobile SIM card installed. amzn.to/4d0NCZP. I am still searching for the best amplified antenna. This one is in the top of my list but it’s really pricy. Still looking for other options before I pull the trigger. amzn.to/4dnD2vJ. Thanks again for watching and subscribing!
Wow! I commented on the OGT Trailer forum on your video. Just superlative. OK - I have a Pando and would love to have a little information on the security cameras you used and how did you route electrical power to the roof. Thanks
Thanks Fletcher! Glad to hear my concepts are helpful to others. I used the Blink security (amzn.to/3wYGAF7) because they will run on batteries for 2 years, supposedly, plus you can get mini-solar panels for them, or you can hardwire them in. I decided to just run them on batteries. Thanks again for the positive feedback!
Quality set up well done. Is the back hitch very low. Do you raise it when u out?
Thanks Suhayl! I have since reworked that configuration and it is now about a foot or more higher. I will do a revision to the video with some additional updates before long.
Really love the videos and what you have done with your Expedition- we have recently bought the same one as you. Have some questions about the water storage and molle panels, is there a way I can contact you directly? Thanks!
Thanks, glad to hear it! You can reach out to me via Messenger.
First off, some great mods. Trailer looks great. What was the weight of the trailer after all the mods, and with your full load out? Again awesome job.. looks great!
Thanks a bunch! I haven’t weighed the whole trailer yet. Anecdotally, I would guess 500-600 pounds without extra water or gas. Thanks again.
@GottaHaveIt awesome job man you are motivated. Looks like you have 1,500 pounds of cargo capacity. I bet totally loaded assuming those boxes are full of gear your going to be right at capacity.
Great mods and definitely love the truck bed liner for all the protection. I just pulled the trigger on my 2024 Expedition 3.0 which is scheduled for delivery in late March.
I do want to get the security camera and the back up camera. Do you have a ready made buy list of your accessories? I can't wait for my delivery, definitely looking forward to it and my camping ventures.
I just updated the program description to include product links in the original CZcams video. Let me know if something you are looking for is not included. Good luck with the new trailer!
@@GottaHaveIt Thank you! I just picked up my Expo 3.0 yesterday. Definitely the back up camera and the security cameras will be my next investment. Did you have to remove the original vinyl before you put on the paint wrap vinyl?
@@caljamz I did but you don’t have to. I would recommend leaving it on if possible! Thanks
I left it on in all locations except one panel that got messed up too bad to keep. Thanks again!
Just finished the vid. Very impressive but you better buy a scale
Thanks a bunch Bart Man! I have a scale. It weighs around 4,000. My V8 4Runner tower 7,300. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Looks good, Where did you get the small step ladders at exterior doors way ? Thanks
Robert, these are the ones we got amzn.to/3T71M2M. Thanks
Rhino line the propane tank!
I seriously thought about it but I would have had to of sanded the whole thing. I ended up putting black propane tank backpacks around them. I also made several more upgrades. I need to post a video update.
Hi,great looking trailer. I understand you used raptor bed liner on your boxes ,but what did you use on the doors?
Cheers Jason
Jason, I placed a listing of all products I used on the buildout in the program description. Here is the vinyl I used on the doors - Black Indestructible Paint Wrap... www.amazon.com/dp/B084NT6L6M?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share. Thanks for watching!
need to think about EMP blasts , that the only thing you haven't covered in your hugh up grades..
Paul, thanks a bunch for the insights. I will give that some thought when it comes time for additional upgrades. Thanks for watching And sharing your thoughts.
Hello, did you have existing holes for the Mollie panels or did you have to drill new hole into the side of the camper?
Roscoe, here is a video I created on how I installed the side molle panels. DIY Molle Panel Installation
czcams.com/video/xTge5098iyU/video.html
I'm hoping to understand.
Is this a "I'm gonna bail, & hope not to be found" trailer?
@LongWalkerActual, that’s hilarious. Good question. I would call it a multipurpose escape-to-nature, escape-from-a-hurricane, escape-if-the-shtf, or escape-if-the-leftists-have-their-way vehicle.
@@GottaHaveIt Bravo!!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
There's a lot of links in the description. Checked twice. Did I miss the one for the actual trailer?
@yesicanu, here is the link to the trailer - offgridtrailers.com/. Thanks for watching!
@@GottaHaveIt Thanks for making the video!
Nice trailer! Could you tell me what the weight applied to the coupler is? Thank youuu!
I’m not sure I understand what you mean.
@@GottaHaveIt what is the final weight applied to the coupler/the tongue?
I keep the tongue weight to around 450 lbs. thanks for watching!
@@GottaHaveIt450 pounds of tounge weight on a 3,500 pound gwr trailer. Pushing it. Plx don't ever put 1,000 pounds on that hitch basket.
I don’t put more than 250 on it.
Absolutely no rear clearance and how much added weight is on that thing?
I have since rebuilt the hitch system so it has about 18 inches of clearance when we have the rear cargo rack installed. We remove the rear cargo rack when we are off-roading. Fully loaded we are near 4,000. My V8 4Runner will tow 7,300.
😮incredible up grade
Thanks a bunch Alfredo, I really appreciate the positive feedback!
What is your total weight once loaded with gear, water, food and such?
@greatamerican2001, with it fully loaded out, it comes in around 4,000 lbs. My V8 4Runner tows 7,300 and it feels effortless in flat Texas terrain. Thanks for watching and subscribing!
Was that thunder or do you live under a bowling ally?
Yes, it was thunder, lol. Thanks for watching!
Have you weighed your trailer before and after it’s loaded?
Erick, it weighs around 4,000 lbs fully loaded. My V8 Toyota 4Runner pulls 7,300 lbs.
@@GottaHaveIt copy. I have a off road hiker trail and tow it with my 4Runner v6. That V8 is nice.
Yes, mine is a 2005 model. I’ve been driving it for 20 years. I want to get a newer model but since you can’t get the V8 any longer, I’m just holding out with old faithful for now.
All these offroad trailers are overpriced, so which one is best for the money this trailer on copart for a future sale, I'm thinking of a arb earth 48k it has a lot to offer at this price point fiberglass shell pressuresrized dust free is what arb say but all these trailer are over priced when most people only use it a few times a year just like the hard shell rooftop tent 5k when times are tough to buy things we want vs need
James, i will check out the ARB Earth 48K. You may want to check this one out too. It’s on the top of my list for a future purchase. czcams.com/video/kAVwpNPC_rk/video.htmlsi=IrPZabIhYkXlXRpS
I did check out that trailer, but it's not really my taste it's a bit much, plus you may need to upgrade your vehicle to tow it. I feel an over-priced trailer leaves many people out of the market , I just bought a 2017 170 Mercedes Benz sprinter van 3.0 I'm building for camping that will build cost 30k and up easy for now I'm just kicking the tires anyway you have a nice build on your trailer
There has to be a limit to add ons. If you used that to bug out in. Good luck...
I can see, highway packed in traffic jams..... And your pulling a ace hardware store on wheels, thugs with big guns... Will thank you as they drive off with it. 😂
Frank, that’s hilarious, lol. I have not neglected that area either. I won’t share the details here but such thugs would be met with a strategically-designed well-resourced overwhelming force where each weapon meets or exceeds military specs that I custom designed and built myself using the highest quality parts available.
unwrapping like a 5 year old on christmas morning.
Jamie, that’s so true! Thanks for the positive feedback, I really appreciate it!
This thing is insane you have given me a lot of great ideas for my expo 2.0. Do you have an instagram I can follow?
@zackeoff4164, thank you! Yes, I do but I haven’t attended to it in a while. Good reminder. I will start uploading new content to it. Thanks again.
