    ABOUT BECKET:
Becket Cook was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He attended Jesuit College Preparatory
School of Dallas. After graduating from college, Becket moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of writing and acting, finding success in both. He eventually went on to become a production designer working with the top photographers and directors in the world on fashion shoots for magazines such as Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar, and for ad campaigns such as Gap, L'Oréal Paris, and Nike.
Finding a new sense of freedom in L.A., Becket also fully engaged in his new life as a gay man. He had a series of many relationships with men throughout the next fifteen years.
In September of 2009, Becket met a stranger at a coffee shop in Silver Lake who invited him to his church in Hollywood called Reality L.A. Becket reluctantly agreed to attend the service. After hearing the sermon that Sunday, Becket was utterly transformed by the gospel and gave his life to Christ. He also knew on that day when God revealed Himself to him that homosexuality was a sin and that he could no longer live that life. Becket was more than happy to count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus his Lord.
Becket spends much of his time in ministry speaking at churches, universities, and conferences helping believers (and non-believers) understand this issue biblically, theologically, culturally, and personally. Balancing grace and truth when teaching on this subject is of primary importance. His goal is to challenge the current cultural narrative about sexuality in general and homosexuality in particular by demonstrating through his personal testimony and biblical truths that, yes, homosexuality is still a sin, and that following Christ is infinitely more satisfying and joyous.
He has lived all over the world in major cities such as Rome, Vienna, and Tokyo.
Becket graduated from Talbot School of Theology at Biola University in 2017 with a Master of Arts in Theology.
Becket’s book, A Change of Affection: A Gay Man’s Incredible Story of Redemption, with a
foreword by Francis Chan, published by Thomas Nelson, released July 30, 2019.
TBCS theme song by Seth Kaye

I take my grandsons to Trail Life it’s a Christian boys group and they are learning character and morals-meets twice a month and it has an extra activity every month. This is the first year and the boys have really liked it a lot. Father is not involved in their lives, so I’m the only grandma there. It is a blessing

Most important topic ever! I’m a woman but dad would take us three girls camping, fishing, canoeing and hiking. And we saw his woodwork and how much all these things gave him. My brother came later but then he joined dad in his wilderness hiking group of usually just guys. So happy to see this program for boys and men.

I would’ve loved for my son to have gone through this program. He was in scouts, but his father really wasn’t investing in our marriage or our kids as they were growing up. I couldn’t be mom and dad for our children. My son only had an older sister.
May God bless and guide your work with these boys.
As a now divorced mom, I think this is wonderful and desperately needed.
I married someone who claimed to have accepted Christ, but fell away early in our marriage. Our son and daughter had a horrible childhood , despite my best efforts. The culture took the place of their parents and family and it breaks my heart.
Thank you for stepping up to address this deep need in boys and men. They need mentors and encouragement.

This made me so emotional! this is wonderful activity for kids who needs fathers. growing up, I've seen my brother didn't have a personal relationship with our dad. but my brother still turned out to be a wonderful young man. but its sad to see how when he is with our dad its business, there's no personal relationship with him and our dad. which I understand cause our dad was abusive growing up and to see young kids have a wonderful loving relationship with their fathers or a father figure is just so inspiring!

Beckett, you are an artist, we are not all the same, and most artists do not like camping or hunting, that is what I have observed. At least I love nature but I don't like camping, not if I don't have a bed or a bathroom nearby. However, I loved the idea of the brother Luke, and yes, it is great, especially for these new generations who, as you say, don't let go of their cell phones, they just want to get her heads into their cell phones.

Amen to this program! I am all for raising boys to be men or even men to be men. I am shocked how the enemy is making boys more and more feminine. Some guys now wear pearl necklaces and do their hair in a ballerina bun. I never thought I would see those things.

The devil has made a concerted effort to fight against the design the Lord instituted in the beginning. He made male and female and told them to go out and replenish the earth. People are killing their children, blurring the lines between male and female and refusing to reproduce or mutilating their bodies so they won’t be able to. It goes on and on.

I just looked you up on the internet to see if I could find your testimony for a friend who will be teaching a SS class about the Holy Spirit. What I found was false information, partiularly that you are married. It was crazy. I hope you can get that corrected! I wish my friend will get your book. She will love it! God bless you!

Becket, you may or may not appreciate this, but fathers can play a huge role in sexuality: There were a lot of us who got involved in the same-sex scene not because we were attracted to men, but we had 'daddy' issues and were acting out our broken relationships with our Dads. Becket, you may not relate to that, it may not match your experience, but it's true for many (including me) and should be said. Excellent segment this week (as usual); thank you, sir, and God bless. Amen.

Great Ministry! I think being in creation removes the wall's, quite literally and figuratively, that distract us. And it reminds us there is a God who is greater than all our earthly sorrows, worries and situations. We can look at everything He has created and still see the beauty and care of our loving Creator, even in this fallen world. This scripture sums it up well...When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained; What is man that You take thought of him, And the son of man that You care for him? ... O LORD, our Lord, How majestic is Your name in all the earth! - Psalm 8:3-4, 9 NASB95
