Is iPadOS13.5 the LAST for iPad Air 2?

- Will iPadOS13.5 be the last system update for iPads? Especially, for iPad Air 2?
iPad Air 2 has come a long way since its launch. Over the years, iOS/iPadOS has improved the performance of iPad Air 2 and added tons of new features, for example mouse and keyboard support, and now, Apple MagicTrackpad.
iPad Air 2 is still capable of daily tasks, even gaming, eg, PUBG mobile. It plays light games with ease, and also handles graphical intense games like Call of Duty Mobile pretty well.
The only let down is the battery life has decreased throughout the system updates, but it is expected as batteries are consumable goods.
Overall, iPad Air 2 still has a lot of life left. Let’s hope iPadOS 13.5 won’t be the last for it, and Apple makes iPadOS 14 support this vintage ipad.

Eniyan Enik Yea Display is so much better than the base iPad. Apple still will not laminate it and add the anti reflective coatings.

Hi, I would update to 13.5. Performance between 2 updates are very similiar. But 13.5 does heat up ipad a bit quicker in my test. But 13.5 addresses a lot security issues.

It is down to your situation at the moment. IMO, Pros out-weight Cons, so I would.
I now have the ipad air 2 but want to buy a new ipad. should i buy the ipad air 3? or will i wait until ipad air 4 comes out??

Current iPad Air(3rd gen) is very powerful. If you need one now, then that is the one I would go for. But if you can wait, then wait and see what Apple will offer later this year.
