I like that little moment, it shows how far they came. Tig started out tormenting and bullying him and as the series went on they've become good friends

I loved Tigs arc he had the most redemption imo
Remember, they are only voting yes because Jax TOLD them to vote yes and explained why it had to happen. He told the other club presidents that he would make sure SAMCRO voted the right way to protect the organization, instead of him getting away with killing another president and the entire club fracturing apart. They know they have to vote yes, so even though it's hard for them, they know it's the only decision they can make. Voting no would probably mean Jax gets killed anyway, and then SAMCRO would get voted out of the Sons as a charter and the whole thing would go to shit. So while it's painful it's probably not as hard as it would be in other situations. And of course if they had spontaneously been asked to vote they would all have voted no, damn the consequences. But luckily Jax knew he could trust Chibs.

I think it's not just grief the guys are feeling here but guilt, SAMCRO encouraged and enabled Jax to go on a rampage after Tara's death and the destruction and bloodshed it caused is what ended his life, they all share some of the blame of what happened to him.

The way Tig supports Rat in this scene always kills me
Everything the Irish priest told Jax in Season 3 Episode 10, about his son and how dangerous it is being a member not only of SAMCRO, but a member of any, any MC. He told him that he came to know Ja
3x father so well that he loved him like his own boy. And Jax’s daddy opened up to him. How he didn’t want his boy Jax To grow up and follow in his footsteps. And the priest told him he couldn’t do anything about his father and by the time he came to know about Jax, plus he lived in California, not over in Ireland, there was nothing he could do to save Jax from the life. But he could save Jaxes Son. As he told Jax, “This is what real leaders have to do at times. Make the toughest choices and see the big picture at the same time Jax. At the same, time, me boy.” He was portrayed by,
James Cosmo, a real life Scottish Actor, who had also been a real Priest for 15 1/2 years.
I cried like a baby here. This was the end of the show, Jax was going to die. All of it just added up. So sad.
I was extremely happy it was over.
I love Chibs. He stood by Jax all through the seasons, even when Opie turned on Jax and went on about Clay. He was distraught, when he voted to give Jax the Mr Mayhem vote, and so was Rat Boy.

This scene messed me up worse than when Opie got piped in the back of the head in season 5 because the emotion in this scene not only with the other members but especially chibs really kind of hit me because these men did not want to have to do this but as per club obligations they had to but you could obviously tell that they did not want to
Jax created his own destiny so in many ways he won, many times he could have left it all behind, but he knew what and who he was, so made it that’s his sons could never be him, what a hero
I disagree. He was attending to create an entirely different path, by making the club better. His plans got derailed after Gemma killed Tara. After that, Ajax wasn’t thinking about anything but revenge. And he was willing to go through any and everybody he thought has anything to do with her death.

TBH, everything turned to shit when Jax became President, even though the real villain always was Gemma.
I would say under normal circumstances, Jax would have taken the Sons to great heights. Legally, ofcourse. He always wanted for the club to go legit and get out of all things illegal. The major problem was Gemma. She was the problem right from the beginning when she turned against John Teller with Clay.

Damn, SAMCRO was really depleted after Jax died. Chibs as the only viable president, Tig was the V.P. basically by default because there was nobody else (Happy was the only other veteran, but more of an enforcer than VP material), then Rat boy (Just got promoted from prospect), Quinn/Montez (Just joined as nomads) and the Grim Bastard dude who also just got initiated. No wonder there was no season 8, nobody was left! LOL
From the original amount not including Happy to this last season, there only short one body. Not bad actually. Lmao

Yes agreed, I literally just watched an earlier season clip and it had like 11 members. Clay, Juice, Bobby, Piney, Opie, guy who stepped on the mine all died. Quite depressing actually haha.

I could care less about Tara's death, but yeah out of all the tragic scenes this one is more effective because of how much we grew up with the characters, given where they started out Tigg in particular HATED Jax & the feeling was more than mutual, but they grew to care & respect each other leading up to this.
