Hiya Dan and Mazzy I'm just watching Cyprus vlogs again cos I'd just come out of hospital and I've watched them but realised I hadn't done the 👍and commented 😮on some of them so I watching them again and I honestly don't mind at all because I'm totally enjoying your holiday vlogs for sure thy are right at the top,thy full of history stunning veiws we get to experience All Inclusive and Self Catering accommodation which I think is such a good idea for sure ..... 😮Aww Dan I love how Mazzy is trying her hardest for you to buy some Sunglasses bless her .....OMG your meal looked unreal that toasties Mazzy made my mouth water Yummy and I agree perfect portions I think you enjoy your meal much more if your plates not over flowing with too much food ....Honestly I absolutely love watching you both ....💯💯....Take Care.....😊😊🧡🧡
Drinks prices must have changed since April when we were there. We were paying 3 or 3.5 Euros a pint for Keo. Taxis tend to have standard fares. There are two Lidl's in Paphos, one in Tomb of the Kings Road and one in the town centre which makes self catering easy and inexpensive. They sell sheftalias and gyros which taste exactly like the ones in the restaurants.
We go all inclusive just for the drinks! It really does pay off!! X

Thought i saw a hob and microwave too in your apartment. Easy enough to whip up some bacon and sauage baps or even a toasties like youve been eating at restaurants mazzy. Definitely don't need a whole cooker to make easy meals for self catering x
No holiday if your cooking same as at home, we go half board then we fill up at breakfast go out for the day or half day and you have your food for the evening, think your right with a family you need all inclusive prices have gone up so much, loving your videos and got to say mazzy you are glowing looking amazing ❤xx
Buy your water from a supermarket, Papantoniou or Orphenides, 35-50 cents a bottle.
Use the service buses €1.50 each or an all day ticket for €5pp a day and treat it like a hop on hop off, valid until 9 pm.
That'll get you from Paphos to Coral Bay as well, although you may have to change at the new bus station on TOK Rd

If U guys get a chance to go back to Cyprus I recommend potarus just outside ayia Napa, little bit more lively but a lovely clean town, unlike ayia Napa broken concrete slabs etc but potarus is beautiful
Don’t you fancy going over to Northern Cyprus which is the Turkish side it’s fascinating. You can go on a day trip have a look so different

£5 each for a coke? Wow. Buy water bottles from a supermarket and drink that in the day and buy coke and drinks at the apartment and have a couple out. I like to hear about the prices. Enjoying your videos thank you

I can not believe the Archaeological history at your door step there, it’s just amazing.. The other day when you went into that big field thing was just stunning, although how you did it in that heat is beyond me. I am Aussie and our summers are very hot, but I could not have done that. We all appreciate what you are doing.. 😅
Side line.. we got caught in Hawaii with those creams and we “ actually” bought them, was very good but so expensive. You are braver than me how you got away the other day after the lady did all the creams, I thought, “ she got ya”

many years ago we did the SC v HB v AI calculations and you're correct AI is the way if only for the reduced stress of food/drink anytime without worrying about cost
It's cheaper but often means you don't experience the local food and enjoy turtles etc whilst doing so

10 euros for a coke? Never.. we went last year and we paid around 2 euros for beers. Cooked bacon and eggs in apartment and sometimes did chicken wings in pan on hob. Ps stop moaning it's hot...ya on lolyday😁😁😉
4.50 each pint of coke + tip = 10 euros for 2 cokes.

All inclusive is the best way to go in a very hot country. I’ve never been to Cyprus myself but I did hear it very expensive there, interesting videos.
Hi Mazzy and Dan. i took my daughter and her 2 children on holiday and we went self catering, then decided to go all inclusive and i have to say it turned out to be better and cheaper. Drinks are so expensive outside in the bars and thats what made me decide to go all inclusive, plus we didnt have to keep wondering what to buy for meals etc. Cokes are always dearer anyway. I think you did the right thing upgrading. Another thing with all inclusive is there is always something you can eat, and i am a fussy eater lol. Enjoy the weather as here its so changeable. All inclusive is definitely worth it! I agree totally. Just drinks alone would be worth it.
Hi Dan & Mazzy, great vlogs, my thoughts are regarding hi price of soft drinks, I usually find a local Spar and buy a pack of cola for the room, mornings and evenings, a fraction of a bar drink, but appreciate when you are out and about you might want a bar ambiance for a fee.
It's not a matter of wanting a bar. Drinking in bars whilst walking in 38 degrees is a must.
Hi Dan and Mazzy. We always go all inclusive when on holiday as we feel we get our moneys worth. It was interesting to hear your thoughts on self catering v all inclusive. I watched Marika and Me vlog earlier and they had a meal at your hotel and the food looked really nice, I’m sure you will always find something to your taste.

It depends on what you choose surely. Lamb Kleftico, Stifado, Moussaka, Souvlaki, Gyros, meatballs, pastitsio etc all better than chicken nuggets/pizza/toasties and chips sorry guys. Self catering means eating out and experiencing freshly cooked local cuisine at a time it suits to me..quality over quantity..one meal a day to enjoy
Darling , fruit is mainly made up with natural juices that are good for you. Should of had your bowl of fruit to quench your thirst. 😊❤❤ trying to look after you, darling.

Cant stand to drink ice coffee but a Spanish man gave me one, i was so hot & sweaty & i got myself a water & he told me no good & to drink the ice coffee, its help nore than any pop or water, awesome vlog guys 🌹🔥🥂

I’ve done a majority of different board basis and I prefer sc or b&b to be honest. Ai is great for families but it’s very restrictive and I tend to spend more time at the hotel and Sc and b&b I go out a lot more and I try the local food more and meet more of the locals. Ai is ok if the hotel is really local but even the entertainment if for families, you have to do you and whatever is suitable

Mind you, all inclusive will not cover you if your out so I guess it depends how much out you will do.. it maybe the salads that made you feel a bit sick, depends what water they washed the salad in. I got food poisoning in turkey from being told in turkey it was bottled water they had used and it wasn’t, i was told in Uk that it also could have been birds walking on the tables then you touching the table. My daughter in law had same issue. Drinks used to be much cheaper than Uk years ago.no longer the case sadly.
All inclusive is a nice stress free holiday. Self catering is good too. But the initial outlay from scratch can be expensive. A back pack/cool bag with an ice pack or frozen bottle of water in with a few snacks is what we do when we go out and about. It’s swings and roundabouts isn’t it. Enjoying your vlogs. I must admit I like beaches the best 😉😂😂

I think maybe all inclusive and just get a meal out when you’re fed up with buffet. Maybe buy plastic bags or lidded containers and pick up some bread cheese ham etc at breakfast and keep in your fridge for your night time munchies😊😋😻
When we went abroad we would use self-catering and we would say at a aparthotel.
I had a idea that you would spend more money doing self catering. We dont drink really never drink at home. Only time is when we go away, but i drink Cider and in hotels in turkey you cant get it. Only in restaurants, so i just drink water and the odd coke or orange but the coke bloats you up. Even food buying each day adds up. I tght that toastie was a lot of money. I think you will be better off doing all inclusive which also includes food. You can only eat so many sandwiches in 2 weeks. Enjoy the rest of your holiday, have a chill out day round the pool. I like to chill during the day and go out on a night even if we are all inclusive. Have our meal and then go for a walk. Xx

Hi Both, All inclusive you will safe am absolute fortune Mazzy, if you have had a bit of a funny tummy it could be because you are starting to get allergic to dairy products just be extra careful when you eat ice, cream, chocolate and cheese & anything else you may think contains milk or dairy just a thought Mazzy, Dan go buy yourself a strap to put on your knee all the best Lin 💖

Doughnuts don’t have straps you just hold on but have a life jacket on. You’ve got to try the Chinese before you go home, you are quite a fussy eater I’m more like your husband try different things but I do love salad
Water better not very cold water.. that will make you feel hotter..let it get bit less cold
If I used the much pepper on my food my bowels would evacuate at the most inappropriate times. Pepper can be a trigger for bad things lol

It's the highlight to dress up and go out for a meal in the evening..having the choice and flexibility and to spend within the local economy is a win win..the all inclusive option means you are tempted to stick around the same area and not explore..sounds like it might suit you both to stay in your comfort zone
Why don’t you try and buy bottles of coke from supermarket and fill smaller bottles to take out sometimes would be a lot cheaper. Loved the vlog thanks for sharing. Xxx

That coke is a joke so expensive, take some frozen bottles of water out with you or buy cheap coke a5 supermarket and freeze them , your right though yo7 need to drink loads

Well personally I find everything interesting that you vlog and enjoy it all too. Good call going all inclusive for 4 days. It's good that you've got to experience SC but with no cooker in your apartment it makes sense to go AI I think. That afternoon lounging by the pool was just what you both needed as you're looking very refreshed. That sneaky peak at Old Town was interesting...looking forward to tomorrow's video. Always go inclusive because of the drinks water soft drinks coffee etc. I find its a base . I never let it restrict me if I want to go out for a meal or get out the complex then I do . I know its extra money but I always allocate my spends for going out and about about making new adventures .
But it definitely pays off with th drinks for a start .
Plus your only, doing it for four days , it will save you money.
Zante is a great Greek Island for turtles you can visit the beach where the baby turtles are and put them back in the sea due to the babies struggle getting in the water because of the lapping of the waves its really cool x
