A newer version v5.4.1 is available, which fixes a tons of bugs and horde rework, feel free to update it! But be sure to make a backup of your files.
Moving your old world from old profile to the new profile is preferred. (As launcher updates sometimes keep old files which has issues)
As someone who's main two games are Warframe and Minecraft, discovering this pack and somehow it being one of the best modpacks I've played in years only to discover that you used to be a Warframe content creator fills me with a level of joy I don't know how to describe. Thanks for making this modpack. It's legitimately amazing!

yeah, i definitely think this was a hotel XD but he does FINALLY find a hospital later on! (he's been really into the modpack and so is a decent bit ahead in his streams compared to youtube)

@@CamdenS6969 i rarely am able to catch streams unfortunately, but i was watching the past streams on twitch and just when i got caught up on deceasedcraft he had two more streams with zombies in it! not complaining for sure, i really love this series, he's just been on a roll it seems XD

Cap, I've been playing the pack the last couple of days and I discovered a few hours ago that there are crates in the pack. They have sixteen slots each, function as mini shulkers, and you can shove as many in a backpack as it can hold. I've added SO much storage to my backpack!!!

I was working on my base in the top floor of the Megatower complex in DeceasedCraft when I saw the notification that Captain was finally taking on the very tower I called home in my own world. I found 4 different types of guns and like a total of 8 in my Tower, hopefully Captain has the same luck!

Just in case you dont know their is a button to switch gun modes and a lot of your full auto guns can be switched to semi-auto to save a ton of ammo :)
It's actually crazy to me that Cap is passing up food and drink. Especially since he's complaining about having to eat so much. Imagine being in an apocalypse, I'd be taking everything that is safe to eat. Imagine being like, "I'll have to choose between coke and porpsi" 😂😭

I know right! Especially with his giant ass backpack. Instead he insists on grabbing the things that do not stack and leaving the important items that stack to 64 or at least more than ONE. Oh well
I'm assuming it's weird muscle memory, usually food isn't as important in Minecraft as other stuff due to how much you can just make. Not sure how that holds up here.
I also noticed you keep checking your inventory to check if you're infected but just look at top right to see what debuffs or buffs you got
You need to take at least one of each unique food to eat and gain hearts, don't leave food you never tried!

Worst part is how excited he got when he got the heart belt trinket that gives 5 hearts but at the same chest or one after, already ignoring a food never tried.
@@McSeal its been quite frustrating honeslty. spoiler alert but he died like 3 times in todays stream all because he has only 5 hearts on his head. then proceeded ot complain about the high amounts of damage and there being "no way" to avoid it. i spammed and spammed in chat to eat new foods and he just ignores it. honestly getting me SLIGHTLY upset. not a huge deal obviously but i do wish he would just eat the dang food XD

Not sure if you found this out, but you can bind a key to the breakfall feature with the parkour mod where you can time as you hit the ground to negate fall damage
You should put hoppers under the barbed wire trap then put chests so you get all the loot from the zombies. Great video from 🇬🇧

@@LUCAS420BLZ as of yesterday's stream he has an entire double chest totally filled with different kinds of complex foods. no point even making food manually in this mod pack as there are tons and tons of pre made food to loot around the map

It seems like they're spawning in broad daylight though so with this modpack idk if lighting up the forest is gonna do anything

Foget the hospital! Go find a police armor and an electric stick for +150% melee dmg in the police stations. And the hotel gives you tons of things! Lots of trinkets, charms and resources
I just found something crazy, in that parking garage break the vertical slabs on each floor, on like the 4th one down I found 6 ancient debris. You can also find lots of create machine parts
I feel like, if Jardon cleared out a lot of the leaves and trees in the immediate area around his base, he wouldn't see as many zombies there. Just a thought though.
I imagine zombies spawn regardless of light levels. The whole apocalypse thing right
I dont comment often but I had to say I absolutely LOOOVE this series Captain
When your body in the bottom right is full green ( full health) your food goes down way slower. be sure to keep yourself healed up
He commented on an earlier episode that he discovered it’s a glitch, food still tries to heal you even though natural regen is largely disabled, so any sort of damage results in instantly losing all of your saturation, because it’s trying to do the rapid heal from Vanilla MC.
Jordan not closing doors behind him and letting himself get flanked over and over is giving me an aneurism xd.
Also check the gas stations for gas for the vehicles
dont worry episode 5 is when he finally gets into a car and drives it
Saturation is dropping so fast because your body parts need to be healed, if you’re full healed on your body, then your saturation will go down normally
I really liked the Toilet map series that you did. This comes in second but with Pigstep, I’m leaning towards this being no. 1. Keep having fun!

you know jordan, there is Essential mod which is a free mod to play multiplayer with up to 8 friends. any modpack both official and unofficial. even vanilla. any of your singleplayer worlds work with no setup needed
I am loving this series! I started watching on CZcams but switched to twitch vods to catch up, been watching the vods every night, currently watching episode 7 or 8 but wanted to say GREAT SERIES very intriguing always!

So for a suggestion on the next episode, why not consider building a tunnel underground from the base into the city? Of course you'll need to light it up with torches to prevent spawns, but it should eliminate your odds of falling into the pit of doom out front. Otherwise, a retractable drawbridge is your best bet.

jordan using toggle sprint in this pack is driving me insane, i love toggle sprint too but this pack uses too much food and water for sprinting. I imagine because of parcool, which you should get used to using. bread and butter for me is vaulting, ledge grabbing and rolling when jumping down from a height.
honestly having parcool really changed how i played because i didnt need to worry about having blocks and stuff on me it had a lot more flow than vanilla. Also refusing to understand it WILL get you killed especially being hard-headed about toggle sprint. you should seriously turn that off.
youll need plenty of food for natural healing since that stuff will completely ruin your hunger

I know it’s kinda cheese but a bucket of water would be beneficial if it still works like vanilla. The zombies and mobs won’t be able to get to you if you throw it down at your feet mid fight

he is planning on moving to a whole new hand crafted base sometime in the future so doesnt wanna bother doing all that on this current base

Im really enjoying watching you play this series this got my bf to finally play mc with me 😂 we are now playing the modpack together and it made me realize how good you are at the game because we had it on normal and got absolutely destroyed within 15 minutes.
When your backpack is full, you could always consider using a waypoint teleport home.

Just so you know to help you start in create, use the immersive engineering hammer to make the iron plates and such as its sooo much faster. you put the hammer and an ingot in the crafting together and there ya go ezpz
I watched this half way through and then decided to play it, one night I got a luck moon and I was gonna just skip the night but then I got infected, so I ended up deciding that I should rush to loot before I cure myself(since I found a gapple in the mines), I looted the police station and the amount of loot is insane, chests filled in every slot with ammo. Every chest got a gun, I got an M4A1, MP5 and an extra Desert Eagle. Best decision of my life lmao

Funny, but it's not a hospital anyway, it's an apartment super complex with a penthouse/CEO office at the top, for uber rich people one way or the other
I saw you had a magnet last episode or at episode 2, a trinket when you break things it just goes to your inventory it's really good
he completely forgot a fully crafted refined storage controller in a chest when he was looting in one of the past episodes.
He already has a storage controller, he actually mentioned “not needing any more storage controllers” when he can across another in like Episode 2 or 3.
This series is amazing. Great tension and investment! Would be so interesting to see multiplayer, maybe Kara and p33n?
Just for sticks and giggles i decided to use all of my backpack space to raid 1 one those towers, leaving only duplicate armor and weapons behind. by the time i was finished 2 hours had passed and me having more resources than i know what to do with. and a surprising number of trinkets on top
Im fairly certain there was an alternator in one of the residential buildings nearby, next to the sushi place and the guy in tge camper. Just behind the sushi place a bit and to the left, I believe it had a dark oak roof - top floor, same place you got the create autocrafters in one of the early episodes.
Just looked back, its episode 2, 27:24. Its an accumulator, and waila said 0 FE. Not sure if accumulator is what you meant or if its a different thing.

That said, my FIRST BUILDING i went into was a police station (unknowingly), and the FIRST CHEST I OPENED had a gun in it. I guess i have dumb luck sometimes!
To be honest I'm a console player but I've actually played this on my laptop and now My laptop doesn't work anymore I really wish they would port a Add-on kinda like this but tbh I know they would never do anything like that because Mojang has a strict no gun allowed policy

I like that this mod pack is less of make farms and create everything and is instead more of a traditional zombie survival game where you have to find stuff and bring it back to base and rebuild your own society
I do wish there were better Npcs and settlements though seems pretty bleek
The modpack dev said the next big update will have precediually generating NPCs, which is wild

Tbf I tried the mod for a couple of days and my base was swarmed constantly since day 2 with no guns
Only 20 mins in but I can tell he's not going to put carpet on top of the fences so he can just walk over the fences instead of jumping over the trap pits to get in his house
I don't know if Spice of Life: Carrot Edition has a lunch bag or a lunchbox like the regular mod does but that might help with eating a variety of foods.

Would it be possible to put two buckets of dirty water in the furnace and then make an infinite source of purified water, so that you don't have to cook each bottle every time you want to replenish your supply of drinking water?

Just an idea, but maybe in the future, you could save the mob drops from the barb wire and trap doors.

PLEASE start using your literal mountain of food cap. you could literally have DOUBLED your total health by now if you spent a small amount of effort just grabbing a few different food stacks to use instead of hoarding useless potatoes. not to mention how much you are missing out on nutrient buffs.
This isn’t a hospital this is a hotel! The hospitals have red H on the map, not white. Also the hospitals are a bit smaller then the hotels on the map.

Just to let you know if you hit a bank in the mod pack there is a volt that you can go into and get a bunch of iron and gold not so much gold but a lot of iron

Why you eat so much? Just heal first then eat, that's why you eat 5-10x as much cuz the game is trying to heal you from food. each part of the body has to be healed first
dont worry this issue has been fixed as of last stream, someone in chat made a custom mod for sparklez that fixed the saturation issue so now he doesnt have to worry about that
