For those wondering comic con is a big event! There are so many things to do, but one of the most popular things to do is meet your favorite celebrity! Joseph Quinn who plays Eddie Munson in stranger things was at the comic con in londen. Basically you pay to meet them and most people had prepaid I’m guessing … well there was a mess up big time over 400 people were overbooked ……… not good. Usually they get breaks but he had to stay there for hours… he was trying to make the best out of the Scenario but he would then be yelled at by comic con workers for hugging people to long talking to much time not going fast enough also a lot of people in line were very mad for the same reasons he was being yelled at so much and he was just trying to be helpful and sweet… so yea that’s what happened he did not deserve it actually no one deserves to be treated like that and I feel so terribley sorry for him!
the LFCC is actually normally a small event compared to MCM comic con (for example) they are also extremely shady and will announce guests before even getting contracts with the actor(s) and refuse to refund people when said actor doesn't appear.
I feel really bad for Joseph because he probably didn't know beforehand what showmasters are like :( He pretty much became their cash cow for the weekend

I see Joseph is so nice and wanted to give his best! He was doing the right thing being nice to his fans! I hope other events happen better and he have lots of sucess ahead cause he deserves! ❤

As an artist who wants to be recognized for my paintings one day, i don't think i could ever handle that many people at a comic con wanting you to sign something for them. Not that, that would ever happen to me just saying it's a lot of responsibility because everyone spends their money on you and they all just want 1 sec of being acknowledged which is understandable but it must be hell on the artist. Mad respect to him for being a great sport.
Apparently the staff were rude to him yesterday, moaning he was taking to long etc. I would have told them where to go. But he is to sweet. They are just money grabbers.
The idiots ( not the staff ) overselling his time slot by 400 tickets didn't help. ( not an excuse )

No they weren't, he addresses the rumor on stage that "it was mental" and said "everybody had been brilliant, all of you have been brilliant, I was just taken back to the crowd response".
That’s not his fault they oversold it’s their responsibility as event organisers they had no right treating him like that
I've been reviewing conventions for over a decade and I've never seen a convention like LFCC treat their guest AND fans such as this in this video. I did not attend but it's very clear here that this convention wanted to rush an interaction with Joseph Quinn when most of these people I'm certain traveled many, many hours to meet him.
Shame on you LFCC for telling your guest to "hurry the fuck up" when these people paid you good money to get some time with someone they likely wouldn't be able to any other way. -Brian

@@adrianmadden That’s almost normal these days. When I first started going to cons £15-£25 was average. If you got someone at £45 they would be a top ranking guest.
I’m sure Christopher Lloyd was £45 when I met him, before the days of Diamond passes, which is why he was cheaper I guess as more people would pay to see him.

Sure he never would've thought that playing Eddie would get him this much fame. Well deserved because his character is so iconic, with the devil horns and playing Metallica in another dimension. I just don't agree with how he was treated by comic con staff!
The guy yelling herding then like cattle. Thats why I don't pay for this shit. It's not an experience at all. Horrible for both the fans and the actor. What a joke. He shouldn't told that guy to stfu and leave the area.
This whole farce just makes me really angry - and (from what I understand), this wasn’t even close to the worst of it.

I think it is because usually at places like this (or ones I have been too) you are not aloud to take pictures of celebrities at the table because you have to pay. I once tried to get a picture of someone I like before I got an autograph and one of the people who worked there just came and stood infront of me for the whole time i was lining up :))

Make your voices heard online people - this whole mess was avoidable, and they decided to throw caution to the wind and oversell it. I worked in Events Management for several years and I can tell you that’s not down to some system error or admin screw-up. That was down to greed and them hoping people wouldn’t kick-up a stink when they didn’t get their moment with him. Really shifty and shitty move, and unacceptable.
