Very easy to play and family friendly Virtual Pub Quiz.
The 6 rounds this week are:
1. Picture Round
2. Entertainment Round
3. Double Questions Round
4. Connection Round
5. Name Any 10 Round
6. General Knowledge
The sound is a bit tinny for about 30 seconds whilst the weekly rounds are being announced (new microphone has been ordered) but is fine for the rest of the quiz.
There are 65 points available (round 3 is two points per question) answers will be given after rounds 2, 4 and 6.
I will be releasing a new Pub Quiz every Friday or Saturday as well as my usual general knowledge quizzes
There will be a Picture, Entertainment and General Knowledge round every week, rounds 3 and 5 will change every quiz, so if you have any suggestions for rounds let me know in the comments and I will definitely have a look and if I think it will work I will put it into a future quiz.
If you would like to comment your scores I will give a shout out to the top 3 scores in the following weeks quiz.

Evening dale we have just done this quiz and I just want to say that Juliet died after Romeo as was asleep not dead and woke to find Romeo dead then commented suicide p.s love your quizzes as a family we do them every week 👊👍

Re the Shakeapeare answer, I answered opposite you and was fairly confident in my answer as I taught the play to high school students for several years (albeit 25 years ago) but did a quick search to clarify because I thought WHAT?!? and my answer was confirmed.

Great quiz Dale. I scored 64 this week. Tiebreaker- 9 minutes 15 seconds.
Wow! Naming 88 elements is impressive, Dale. 63 this time for team Agwoturumbe. The country option from the name any 10 round really saved us from guessing random car brands we thought were in formula one. Our guess for crossing the bridge is 4.5 minutes.
Also spotted a few spelling errors on the leaderboard. It’s “Agwoturumbe”
Team Katy and Kaya here not our best with 39/65 and our bonus answer is 10 minutes have the bestest time in Newcastle! 🎉
We are Ugly Bags Of Mostly Water! This week we got 52 after the "correction" note! Really got killed on the Double Question round. I think you need to give a little more time for writing down two answers on that one. I found that I was using all that time if I knew the answer so no time for thinking! Maybe 21 seconds over 17? We do love Connections and most weeks we can get the four answers, but I have to say that consistently we are stumped for the 5th overall connection! Early on we were able to get it but the last few seem quite difficult. In any case, great fun as always! Tie-breaker guess is 38 minutes for a combo flat run and stroll !

The much depleted Tuesday club (as people want to abandon the quiz life for a holiday which is rude 😉) scored a respectable 58. Our guess 4 minutes

Team Just Chicken Winging it got 53/65. We liked the double questions round but it was very hard. Our tiebreak guess this week is 12 and a half minutes.
The HomeTask Canucks scored 57 this week. We loved the new rounds. Name 10 was our downfall we love the challenge. It makes things interesting. Not our best score after our first time on the leaderboard🎉🎉. For the tie breaker our guess is 23 minutes. Our kids could stop and watch the ships for hours. Thanks for the update on the one question. Our teenagers just read the play in school. Love the quizzes. Enjoy your time away with the family.
40/65 for husband and I (Team Kirbafur). Pretty on par for us. 😅
We loved the "Name Any 10" round because we're big F1 fans. We'd love more F1 questions! Especially since we know very little about soccer (football) and never get those questions right.
And, admittedly, we always find the Connections round to be way too difficult. 🫣🤣
We still always have fun though!

The Chant family got 51 this week.
Round 3 we got 15, a couple of the questions we had no clue what they were. We enjoyed it, keep that going.
Round 5 we got 8, we chose the countries option. We would've scored 2 if we'd taken the racing option! 😅

yet again a great Quiz, Thanks Dale. Loved the 3rd round I got 19 right on that one. My overall score this week is 60 and for the tie breaker, I'm saying 12 minutes.
Hey Dale thanks for the quiz. Haven't commented for a few weeks, although I will admit my scores haven't been good either. Just thought I would however mention that over the last 3 weeks, the top 5 topics that you have asked questions in are as follows : Entertainment (72 questions), Geography (32 questions) Sport (23 questions), History (14 questions) and words (11 questions). Both Geography and Sport have been boosted due to round 5 in this weekends quiz, where you had a choice of giving 10 answers in either one or the other subject.
Anyways 50/65 for me this week, and as always, the first 2 rounds were the killer, when I dropped 10 points. Also when you give the answer to a lyrics question, can you also put the name of the band, as well as the song, just for information purposes. Many thanks

Evening Dale, another great quiz as always. Round 3 was an interesting round and a good one.
Although sadly looks like we missed you, we were in Newcastle all day yesterday as well.
Team Golden-Wolfe did originally score 62 till I saw your post about the Romeo and Juliet question. So thats us down to 61/65.
As for the connections. Got the connection of it on the first one as I did say to the missus that incidentally The Dead Sea is a lake not a sea.
- Thankfully we do this on a Sunday night rather than the Saturday Night (Its usually our movie Night) as today was the Monaco Grand Prix so managed to get all 10 on that one. - Would have only gotten 8 of the countries - Got all apart from the Guinea ones.
As for the Rock's finishing moves, strangely that is one move I've not performed in wrestling myself. Not even in training. Used a sitout version though.
As for the tie-breaker question we want to say 34minutes to cross.
Hi there Dale. Team C was so pumped about hitting the podium last week. Thank you so much for your quizzes. We love them so much every week. This week not so good, but above average. We scored 52. Bonus question 7minutes. Also of note, it was Romeo who died first, not Juliet. Juliet feigns death and Romeo kills himself, then Juliet comes to and finds Romeo dead and kills herself. So we gave ouraelves the point for that one. Thanks again.

Not a bad go of it this week! And everyone has a voice so that's a win! Team Super Trooper scored 56! The Supreme Quiz team captain (Mum) was convinced that Gorgonzola was a UN state though. She was overruled. Glad for the correction though. That could have caused a fight. lol. Two houses, both alike in dignity and all that. lol. As for the quiz tiebreaker, we're going for 7 minutes. The junior of the team came up with a compelling argument for the time. Hope you have an excellent week!

We scored 56 this week. Myself, Jackie and our 8 year old Esmé. My guess was 4 minutes for the bridge but I've been overruled and our answer is 18 minutes. Have a great time take care.
I got 41 this week. However I would like to argue the Shakespeare question because I thought juilet first "faked" her death thus she didn't die first and Romeo upon thinking she was dead killed himself first then Juliet woke up saw Romeo dead so she then killed herself. Anyway for the bonus I think you'll take 5 minutes to cross the bridge

Was excited to see I made it on the leaderboard for last week!! That won't be the case this week, it was a 44 for Jadam. Tiebreaker I'll say 20 minutes.
Didn't mind the choose 10 round but that very category dependant. The two questions round was good I thought.

47/65 for Team Harlow this evening. Slow start but recovered a little. We chose option 1 on the double round and we chose correctly by scoring 10. Very enjoyable quiz once again Dale thank you for your variety. As for tie breaker we'll try 17 minutes.
I got 48 this week mostly due to all 10 f1 teams its "Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber" officially or useless as a go i could only get 5 G Countrys. in connections i only had dead sea and victoria but got lakes when you gave the other two answers.. the doubles were quite hard for me my worst round for sure but still good round to have i thought. oh and 15 minutes for the bridge itself bit of stopping and looking i think nomidea what city newcastle at a guess

@QuizMasterDale - I won't give the answer away....but the Juliet / Romeo one is wrong, as someone only 'appeared dead' so therefore didn't die first.... Maybe the question needed to be worded differently.

Although that’s only 52 if you don’t correct the Romeo and Juliet question. Romeo was the first to actually die, Juliet was faking death at first and he had killed himself in sorrow before she woke up to find him dead and stabbed herself to join him 😉

Coppins family in New Zealand got 48 this week, quite difficult and we struggled with the connections round this week. Tie breaker is 18 minutes to cross the bridge. How about a flag round?
I did like the format of round three, although I only scored seven. I really enjoy questions that inspire me to pause and search them out. By the way, I don't give myself credit for any questions that I look up.
