Beach was infested with Bluebottles ~ How our fun day at the beach turned into bad ~ Na-bokya ako!

We went to Maroubra Beach in Sydney on a fine day, not so cold and not so hot. We had a really fun day at the start enjoying a yummy brunch at the cafe. The water was not so rough too and the sun was bearable. But I got stung by a Bluebottle in my leg and my hand, it was so painful that we had to cut it short and call it a day. It turned out that the beach was infested, we didn't see it beforehand.
Bluebottle is not a jellyfish but a siphonophore, its sting causes an immediate sharp pain and acute inflammatory skin reaction. If you want to see how it unfolds please check it out.
