- An all new cinematic trailer for Diablo IV was shown during the 2022 Game Awards, featuring Blizzard's signature epic cinematic. Diablo IV is expected to release June 6, 2023.

@@lizardwizard4542 well the crystals are what bring them back to life which were attacked by diablo. The angels are made of light/sound so it makes perfect sense
If blizzard allowed their creators on games as much creative freedom as this cinematic, we'd have some amazing games too
And if they would pay their devs maybe even more. Since they lost a lot of veteran devs from previous diablo games...
The execution of this is just fantastic...the music, sound effects, ambiance, everything...If blizzard is good at something, its making absolutely fantastic cinematics.

wow inarius is alive? I thought he died! props to the cinematics team, always delivering the goods, and inarius in this cinematic is the most menacing creature in this cinematic, and he's the angel! how cool is that!
Angels are "good" in the diablo universe so yeah, that's kinda the whole point of the necromancers
@@rektcompass6218 Yeah I know the story and angels aren't pure white, but from only the looks from this cinematic, and demons are supposed to be the more negative archetype, inarius is just a boss, nuking the demons if he wants to :)
Angels get reborn from the High heavens when they die. If he was alive once, he will always be alive as long as the high heavens exist. Just like Demons will get reborn in Hell. That's why their war is called the "Eternal conflict" and they always try to imprison the Angels or Greater Evils instead of just killing them like the smaller Demons.

@@WilliamAndrews0 true, but not quite accurate. If demons get killed in Pandemonium or Sanctuary(or heaven ever since D3), they basically get a free TP back to their section of the hells. Normally when an Angel dies, the energy returns to the Crystal Arch in the High Heavens which it then Uses to create a Brand new Angel, but it's a completely new individual. Therefore, only Demons are truly immortal. Angels are eternal, as long as they don't get killed and unlike demons which hell periodically vomits out new ones, the production of Angels is Finite, only a limited amount of angels can be produced, therefore, unless some actual changes have been made to the lore Tyrael, Izual, Malthael & his reapers are all fucked & if Inarius dies, it's likely he's screwed too. The only Demon that has genuinely vanished into inexistence has been Lucian, son of Mephisto who was destroyed by Eldysean the Greatest Nephalem to ever exist. Another thing we must take into consideration is that, in D3 the crystal arch was corrupted by Diablo himself, we don't really know if it's producing any angels, or if it's accepting Dead Angel Animus back into it, resulting in the gates being sealed off from humans in D4. But, I'm sure they'll come up with some kind of hope for the Angels in D4, it's not like Blizzard hasn't changed things in the Past like they did with Adria and D1 lore making The Warrior the son of King Leoric.
If you want this to be a good game: DO NOT PRE-ORDER.
The beginning of that Singing reminds me of the song they used for that Halo 3: ODST live action trailer.

Well they fucked up Overwatch 2 as well this year, I think it’s best to keep your expectations VERY low.
I think this Inarius is still empowered by the world stone. I don’t think that ever went away. That would explain why he had this strong of a presence.

@@minuette1752 Inarius also didn’t seem corrupted or darkened like Malth was, but Baal corrupted the world stone, and Tyrael had to destroy it. Maybe after all that time being fueled by it, elevated him. Imperius, and tyrael, especially in Diablo 2 remake, didn’t command anywhere near that presence. Demons were lining up to fight imperius and tyrael

And we finally pick up were diablo2 left off. The early sounds from the beginning reminded me of 1997 Dungeon Keeper cinematic, before the knight enters the dungeon. But then it turns diablo and only diablo. I hear The Wilderniss sound when you entered the Den Of Evil. The feeling the game and music invoked are being surrounded by darkness of the dark age on hellish corrupted soil. You a lone hero with a small holy heart. A dim light in a vast darkness the wilderniss or roque encampment music always gave me the feeling of being tiny, and powerless but with a single will to great deeds although the evil is somewhere far away. The first step is starting killing demons. When i finally stepped in Kurast or Travincal, there is this reversed music like at 2:02 somehow a deep feeling of revelation. Yes in this darkness something good had happened. Maybe enlightenment of a single person but its not me and the Order spawned is all corrupt and gone wrong. This indian like civilization is now just doom and gloom with mephisto and the very gates to hell installed to it in the very temples that were once a facade of purity of religion. Soon my feeling of being a mere holy knight changed to being a witness to absolute corruption changed into a participant in an cosmic battle forgetting my old struggles all together. Diablo is really the deepest game evoking feelings of transformation and tapping deep into the veins of the dark suffering and light of madness a single human can endure

I hope this game does well. The problem I have with Diablo games is that they are fun for a month then you get bored because it’s just a grind of the same 3/5 areas on getting gear once you have obtained it there’s nothing to do…… blizzard needs to make extremely hard bosses especially when people are team up increase the bosses life and damage. Give us raids to do bring out DLC give us bigger worlds.

D3+Malthael killed off about 90% of humans in total. So what if there were some uber Nephalems if cultists, reapers and demons were running among entire world and killing as much populace as possible? And those Nephalems were apparently very mortal anyway

Could Diablo 4 be about Lilith giving birth to the Nephilim‘s because we know that the angels feared the Nephilims and because of that they tried to kill them all but Lilith protected them and in doing so she was hunted down by the angels could it be that the angel that through his weapon at her could he be Lilith former lover and could it be that he is trying to prevent the birth of the Nephilim
