Unfortunately yes you likely left it in the microwave too long and it dried out the crust. I know it's tempting to always pick the quick method but when there's always a choice between oven and microwave always choose the oven if you want to get the item to taste at its best.
It's really good when you cook it in the oven. It makes a flakey, crispy crust. I love the crust and big pieces of real chicken. Delicious!
Agree with everyone else, the pot pie is better if it's baked in the oven. It's delicious. The crust is not your typical pie crust, but more of a flaky pastry crust. I hope you will try it again but in the oven this time.

Thank you for reviewing the chicken pot pie! I've been curious about it, but I've never gotten it. I keep passing on it for other products. So I will definitely get this soon and make sure I cook it in the oven!
The black bean & cheese burrito is also a favorite of mine. I love to put Taco Bell mild sauce on it!
You should’ve tried the almonds and the mandarin orange slices for us. I know they’re not new, but they’re new to you and I’m sure many of us have it tried them as well.
The were both good, the mandarins almost tasted like candy. Very sweet. We ate them both before the taste test. I put them out after school and we had our friends over.
I love the Trader Joe's chicken pot pie and lasagna. So delicious! Yes, bake in the oven. Mine always turn out tasty on the inside and the crust is flaky on top and very easy to cut into
The almonds are delicious & my kids absolutely love the dried mandarin oranges too! Very good but super sweet!
Yes they almost taste like candy, we enjoyed them 😋

I love the chicken breast packaged meat- use them in new noodle bowl, sherma bowl and mix it in the pasta arriebeta too!!

Amanda i knew i saw a new chilli onion crunch last time i went. I just left my trader joes they have a new crunchy chlli cranberry orange and onion crunch

If you like dried fruit, TJ’s has dried pineapple and dried apple rings and they are both delicious.
I saw the dried pineapple and almost got that one, I’ll have to try that one next time
Oh no why didn't you guys try the marcona almonds and the juicy mandarin slices?
I put them out with snacks when we had our friends over. Everybody enjoyed both items and this was before the taste test. I do recommend both 👍
