What are you talking about? The dwarves brought him like, thousands of bullets, gallons of flame, and so many pounds of cannonballs! They were *showering* him in gifts.

Pusgoyle Blightlords! They are basically Blightkings riding rotflies. Would be an awesome unit to see in the next DLC

Watching those irondrakes stare down Ku'gath trundling towards them without firing was... painful.
The AoS mortals that ride Rotflies are called Blightkings. They're basically just nurgle aligned Knights of chaos, they're some of the main antagonists in the newest Gotrek book.
Almost! Blightkings is the super-heavy Nurgle infantry, which did exist in WHFB, and were almost monstrous infantry. They'd be well depicted in WH3 as something akin to Aspiring Champions.
The unit you're thinking of is called Pusgoyle Blightlords.
@@ashisunblade blighkings and blighlords (like the Skaramor tribe of Khorne) were not in Battle before the End of Times and GW have not let go the rights on the End of Times for Creative assembly.
So it is very unlikely that we will see them coming.

Moreover, it's not really THE Arkhan of EoT because he has not acces to his mount Razarak, the Dread Abyssal.
The big heroes were the Dawi flamethrowers. Looks like they tank leadership in a rapid burst, which is very valuable against Daemons!

Thorek is the only dwarf lord that doesn't feel underpowered though imo.

Edit: i even forgot Grombrindal, Who can use flashbomb! He uses the duration of the flashbomb slow to ALMOST get in range to land a single attack before getting outran once again.
CA needs to give us our boy Malakai Makaisson already, he's the one dwarf LL i can think of that's really unique compared to all the others. (maybe Kazador dragonslayer but he's really just a big dwarf with a big crossbow)
I find it criminal that Thorgrim is just a big doofus, cant do anything, and doesnt even have AP even though he has the same weapons that gotrek has.
pretty much this the problem is every other dwarf lord is fucking terrible

Felt like the Dwarf cannons got too close. I get the mindset of wanting to do as much damage as possible before the fight starts but it always pains me to see the frontlines buckle and the artillery gets wiped out with most of their ammunitions unspent.
I love defensive end Ku'gath blitzing the backline like he's fuckin J.J. Watt, then immediately catching every bullet in The World's Edge Mountains.
I think if the dwarves had been more aggressive at the beginning to try and take the middle objective and bring their firepower to bare faster they may have taken the game. Instead Nurgle was able to weaken the drawf front line and then get into the missiles.
The riding mortals are called Pusgoyle Blightlords. They were in WHFB End Times.

The armoured bloated nurgle warriors on flies are called Pusgoyle Blightlords.
This is a hard one my mate. Pusgoyle Blightlords. It s basically Blightkings (which came out as models in th End Times period) riding demon flies. But yeas Forge World had models for frog units and could be built with or without Paguebearers riding them.
I reckon the dwarfs need some gopher nunchucks to support their face to the foot style.

i think the Dwarfes need something like Runegolems. Monstrous Infantrie would be a good buff for them.

The weakness of the dawi, so slow to reposition. A wee bit better positioning and better elevation and those dwarves would have been ready to kick back with some Bugman's and calling it a day.

There are Rot Flys with I think Chosen with Scythes riding on them.
Originally, the Nurgle Mount was a Palanquin of Nurgle. Technically, Ku'gath is on a Palanquin!!! That's also part of what made him special a named greater deamon. He got the mount, + the catapult attack + greater deamon of nurgle stats+! Nurgle lords and heroes are the only mono god faction missing their special mounts I think!!! Slaanesh gets the Seeker Mounts right? Tzeentch gets the Disc. And Khorne has the Juggernaut! Yeh it's just nurgle sadly. ;C
i wonder if the dwarfs wrote this one in the dammaz kron as being the fault of the chaos dwarfs, you dont expect to be randomly nurgled when going after dawi zharr

I remember the days when all the Dwarf lords were so bad that players prefered to have the cheapest lord they could get and then play the game like it didn’t exist. So while the statement that Thorek overshadows the other lords is objectively true it’s less because he’s broken and more that he’s the only viable option. Put Thorek in any other faction and he’ll probably never get picked.
I don't think that's a fair assessment of Thorek. He brings a lot to the table. He's tanky, does good dmg, has a nice army buff and, is effectively a mage. That's a lot in one package and he's well priced. His only real drawback is that like every other dwarf that he's slow as a snail. I'll admit that's a pretty significant drawback when you ideally wanna put a lord with combat stats like his on a mount so they can move quickly to wherever they'll make the greatest impact. That said, domination mode helps with this problem by allowing him to park it on an objective and let enemies come to him.
i think this woulda been alot less close if ku'gath got unsummoned, the leadership penalty was brutal

i think vs nurgle bringing 3 cannon and 1 hellblaster would be merited. there is simply no way you won't see enough huge and large entity spam to make it worth it and kugath alone takes 3 cannons, soul grinder= 3 cannons, anything big takes 3 cannons to effectively deal with. and then they can switch on other targets. the hellblaster is to both clear infantry elite like chosen but also add extra dps into big targets is nurgle goit 2+ huge entities, then 4 heavy hitting siege machines going on after another on them would be awesome.
also nurgle has nothing that effectively can get in and shot them down and it would be extremely expensive to try, keep some anti-harass unit on top of them when 4 it's worth keeping something that can clear fast just on stanby to keep them clear. :D

I think the dwarfs could win if they kept the cannons further off. The cannons could keep overwatch over the middle objective while being out of touch for Nurgle.

The only reason Thorek overshadows other Dawi characters is because they are that bad.
No they aren't people just suck at using them
Nurgle is so annoying to play against. They just plop their fat asses on a point and take awful trades. They die so slow that they accumulate a huge point lead, so by the end of the game, they can just win, holding one point.
Gotrek and Felix are a no brainer in this matchup, they kill cultists and frogs for days. Cannons should 100% just be shooting kugath, letting kugath slime into the backline is the worst case scenario, if you're gonna let your gunline die to artillery, move it up and value trade.
Nurgle is usually a pretty easy matchup for dwarves.
The Dwarves are bleeding -- making *them* the victors.
