I still think Aria having dissociative identity disorder would be better. Like, she literally got nothing besides Ezra-based arcs, and the theory that she’s doing all of this without her even knowing it would have been a fantastic plot
yes! I thought she was A for at least two seasons!!!!
I'm still convinced it was supposed to be her in earlier seasons but they changed it to please fans. The hints in the first 3-4 seasons were literally countless: Her being called "Big A" by Mona, her A necklace, the fact that A saved her relationship with Ezra multiple times and tormented her far less than the other three, her father talking about her and her uncle's psychological problems in the VERY FIRST EPISODE, the fact that the A texts started exactly when she came back, the numerous hints to her having a dissociative identity disorder like that time when she accidentally only put makeup on one half of her face or those times she orders cheeseburgers despite being a vegetarian. And I'm probably forgetting a lot, you can find videos on CZcams with up to a 100 hints. It would have all made so much sense.
@@forensikarie her father never talked about the mental illness in their family in the first episode, it was from a episode from season 2. and her father never talked about her, he was talking about MIKE.

We could have at least gotten a Spoby hug, I mean we got an Ezria one alongside a frigging WEDDING. They seriously screwed Spoby fans in this episode...royally!! I'm just hoping for a Spoby deleted scene from the finale, something...anything that confirms their relationship, instead of a few vague comments from the other girls. Seriously Marlene, there is no excuse.
I agree with everything you said except about the vague comments, they made it pretty clear Spoby were together again in the girls final scene.

THGQueen I know. I think it wouldn't have been as annoying if it wasn't just Spoby who got screwed but that is what happened. Spoby fans are the ONLY fans that were unhappy in the finale and that really isn't fair. I mean if you're going to love the fans of the show, then love them all equally and show it to them. It's just raw right now and I'll probably get over it, but as a Spoby fan I definitely feel disrespected and disregarded.
I totally agree! It wasn't so hard!!! Just turn the camera after Alex was arrested there and show them hugging or kissing or a simple exchange of words like "you knew me" or something. I felt so bad really! Cause just a small scene would make me happy :(((

@@mc8180 I can explain, it's actually a brain thing, she get so blinded by the fact that for her Toby loved her and she was Spencer that she start to believe that it was true, so she just became crazier than she already was and starts just to doesn't care about family things, she wanted to be Spencer and she believed she was, she believed Toby loved her. And she came to forget what she really wanted, refusing Spencer's offer. Not that complicated 😂

@Tv 101 To me it seemed so rushed, like the writers themselves didn't know what to do with it. Nothing in the story was leading to this. I much prefered the fan theory that it was Wren. This was all a bit too unrealistic for my liking. But so were the last couple of seasons so I'm not that surprised 😬

just to let you know Alex got away with it too, she kissed him when she said "Can I kiss you, just one last time!"
I had to watch the fight a few times before I realized that Alex did actually end up on the left. I was half-convinced Spencer was on the left from following the choreography, but the camera switches perspectives so much it's really hard not to get mixed up. They did a great job confusing the audience, that's for sure (which is what pll was all about, right?)

the show did spencer and toby’s relationship so dirty!!! it started off so good in seasons 1-3 but then they started losing their love and connection for each other towards the end. i get this was scene was a significant moment for them but it feels rushed and doesn’t make up for all their bad screen time before this.

Um they were both being held at gun point and neither of them were hurt. Meanwhile her fiancé who has been missing is laying on the ground not moving. Not crazy to run to him first. If paramedics arrived they’d go for him first to as he’s the one needing immediate attention.
