Teofimo Lopez will defend his WBO and Ring Magazine titles against Jamaine Ortiz on Thursday, Feb. 8, at Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Lopez-Ortiz headlines an action-packed televised doubleheader that kicks off Big Game Weekend.
In the 10-round lightweight co-feature, U.S. Olympic silver medalist Keyshawn Davis faces Puerto Rican former two-division world champion Jose “Sniper” Pedraza.

Josh Taylor just came off of a robbery vs jack Catterall and took a 16 month layoff before fighting teo ofc he was going to dominate him. I remember meeting Ortiz in Providence, RI last year at Big Sixx Boxing Academy after he fought Loma. He sparred 7 rounds and he was very sharp. After he sparred, I kept asking him about the Lomachenko Camp and Loma's techniques. He always refused to give me details about their camp. I always respected that and he is a true fighter who is humble in victory and defeat. I am really looking forward to this fight.
