This song is the equivalent of the best of Eurodance from the 90s but produced in the musical context of the 80s. Taylor Dayne has an extraordinary voice (both very powerful and with many resources) combining perfectly with both romantic songs and dance songs. A singer who should have had much more global success!

I was working in construction in the U.K. when this song was released. When this record was played, trowels, hammers, pick axes, drills you name it were dropped and the whole crew would just break in to dance.🤣🤣. Glory days, better days than today. No doubt about it. Great reaction.

I saw her in the press 4 or 5 years ago for something that was coming out, maybe a new album. I was blown away because I hadn’t heard her name mentioned since the 90’s. She still looked good too. I guess she avoided the drugs.
