i am honored to be in this great marching band this yesr this is amazing
Wow, watching this video from 35 yrs ago and I remember that night like it was yesterday! Proud member of the rifle line. We blew that stadium out with perfection...making sure everyone in Elizabeth could hear the Champions!!
Yes those were some of the best times in high school we had a lot of fun and great memories..mr banger was a great band director that year.. hope all is well with you .
This year the percussion was scored and taught by Fred Magro IIRC.
I was in the drum line in 83 84 we took everything that year I hear people year after say they were better but we paved the way n we were a much bigger band n class .love the memory .
my mom was there
Wow-the memories. I marched with Glen Ridge HS this same season. I remember competing head to head against Elizabeth HS that season...face them twice (Westfield and then championships in Elizabeth). Your show is just as awesome as I remember. We were trying to close the gap on you but ran out of time before the season ended. Elizabeth scored 88-something and we came in 2nd (Class 3) with and 85.85. Only bad memory was the fire siren going off at championships during our closer - Open Arms.
This inspires me to do give my all today at the State Competition in Union with this same marching band ! ♥
Nice seeing the old-fashioned EHS band play... kinda' cute. EHS was never better than winning States and Nationals in 2005, though...
Was there a winterguard in 2005? Did they win nationals in 2005 like they did in 82?The 82 band sounds like a drum corps. Modern marching bands can't hold a candle to this sound.
This is magic at work, drum corps level marching and playing from high school students. Passion was on that field.
The Best Drummer Ever... Hey Keith, what u been up to, still playing?
