    07-08-2020: This was a very informative tutorial and I thank you so much for posting it. I pretty much have everything I need except for the curved scissors, but they're a-comin'!! It's been very expensive taking my 2 Multipoos to the groomer every 6 weeks, so I had to do something to teach myself how to do it. This will be my first time out the gate with grooming them so wish me luck! Thanks again!

    GREAT VIDEO!!! THANK FOR SHARING!!. what the letters on the blades mean? I've seen some say f, fc, wf, what model of andis clipper do you recommend? 2 speed or 5 speed? excel 5, agc or agc2? brush or brushless? which models are more quiet? there are so many models and there are not many real reviews from real groomers but commercials, so it makes it difficult to choose

    Nice informative video, how ever I need a more silent cutter, my yorkie is fearful of the noise. Any recommendations? i don't mind paying a higher price for a good pair.

      I am using an a bravura with a removable 5n1blade. By Wahl. They also make a bravura mini.it has a lithium battery and it doesn’t seem to get hot. And It has stayed really quiet. When the blades wear down, you buy new ones which are about 20-30$ each. Takes awhile bc I just ha e the one dog... I also have an Arco pet trimmer. It’s a removable cordless as well made by Wahl. It’s purple. Also doesn’t get hot. I really like them. It started to vibrate a bit after I had it a couple of years and I dropped it several Times. I was also doing my friends 5 poodles.... good luck!

    What would be the best size table to get?

    • @A10TOES
      @A10TOES Před 7 lety

      i would say it depends on the weight of the dog your grooming. I have a Yorkie which would take a smaller table, however I also have a cocker spaniel mix which is 30 pounds heavier so i need a sturdy table for her.

    • @tinaabrams403
      @tinaabrams403 Před 3 lety

      Usually, the higher the number... the longer it leaves the hair ( at least with the 5n 1’ blade option

    Thought a 15 or 30 blade is used on the pads not a 40 ?

    • @NikkiTurleyMusic
      @NikkiTurleyMusic Před 7 lety +1

      leedy04 40 is used frequently but a 30 can be as well. On show poodles we do typically 30 or 40 on the shaved spots you see on them in the continental clip.
