17 dislikes to this song. An absolute travesty! This song is amazing and this album is one of the best albums ever made. period. Its influence and the way it touches peoples lives even today is astounding. This is the first record I ever heard that wasn't dadrock and every record i heard after that was judged against this album, I love it that much!
Great (albeit simple) guitar, Drums entering perfectly. Strings so brilliantly (John Paul Jones arrangement). Singing so well fitting.This is a masterpiece!!!!
It sounds a lot like "Hey You" by Pink Floyd. "Hey You" sounds wonderful, this sounds similar but not excatly the same. Therefore "Drive" by R.E.M. is a great song. So, if you like this song, I'd suggest Pink Floyd's rock opera "The Wall" to you.
