Wack100 shared his opinions about the loss of rapper Nipsey Hussle and the posthumous fame he gained. Wack100 suggested that the events leading up to Hussle’s death were part of a normal street activity and were caused by an alleged snitch accusation by Hussle to Eric Holder. He also revealed an unheard detail that the two reportedly had a fight a week before. About Hussle's fame, Wack100 claimed that Hussle became more famous after his death, with certain songs gaining more rotation, which he deemed as fake outrage and bandwagon jumping. Wack100 critiqued the music industry, claiming that they did not give Hussle the recognition he deserved while he was alive. He did, however, distinguish between Hussle's influence in the community and music, saying his legend status was more in his community work than his musical outputs.
That is correct, the street gives no F of what you are or celebrity status.
Exactly
That's why most rappers die, they think their status makes them invincible, which is clearly not the case. That's why when you make that everlasting river of cash flow, it's time to leave the "Hood" or area.

The thing with Nip for me, it’s more than music! It’s the message and motivation he gave! Each project he elevated and inspired more!

I heard about Nipsey through Hip-Hop forums, skimmed through "Mailbox Money" in 2014 & listened to "Victory Lap" in 2018. Nipsey's story plays out like a Greek tragedy; he achieved martyrdom in some people's hearts.

Wack is annoying af but bro got a point about the bandwagon shit. My introduction to Nip was on GTA V back in 2013. Real shit I never heard mfs talk so much about him until he passed. Me personally, I ended up listening to him a lot because I used to listen to a lot of YG & RJ and he would be featured on their songs.
@@YaYa-dp6vfit did. Sad, but true. I've never heard of him, until he passed. And I'm not the only one cause I've seen another comment saying the same thing.
Him dying made people want to listen to his music and find out who he was. Him gaining more fans after his death is a great thing, so I don’t know why people keep complaining about “bandwaggoners” when they’re supporting Nip which ultimately keeps his children and family fed and paid.
@upt_wink804: Exactly! It speaks volumes about his greatness as a person and greatness within his music.. Everyone checks music of artists they missed out on when they die.. Nip is the only artist that made people feel like how was I not on this nigga! Again speaks to his greatness..
I first heard one song of his with the Game in 2008. Heard his features with YG years later and then became a fan when I downloaded his album the marathon in 2012. Been a massive fan since! Let me tell you, even when he had songs on GTA - nobody was deep into him until he was killed in 2019. Band wagon fans. I even had Slim 400 on Snapchat in 2013/14 and would ask him about artists in LA and he’d respond (slim was a cool dude).
I hate it. Makes me sick. People selling knock off Marathon t-shirts in profiting off of Nip.
Idiot that last album dropped a year b4 he died..that put me on...and that was on the radio alot
Mmm, I began following Nipsey’s journey in 2008-09. I loved his authenticity and the wisdom that he would oftentimes spill in his interviews. I loved that he was Los Angeles through and through, he embodied the Los Angeles walk and talk flawlessly in my opinion. I did and still do listen to Nip but his motivational spirit and forward-thinking outlook is what captivated me the most. Nip was literally one of the people who helped me to keep going in my own life when things got tough.
No he is not a musical legend and no he was not a first-rate lyricist but I never looked to Nip for that, I largely looked to Nip for motivation and inspiration and I got that. TO ME he is a local legend and I felt that way long before he passed away, I do not expect people who are not from Los Angeles (County) to understand why his life and death was so impactful on people like me. For someone who came from nothing in West Los Angeles to millions is LEGENDARY in my opinion, not to mention his community work. I hear what Wack is saying but I also hope that him and people like him also understand the other side of the conversation that I present as well.
I remember first seeing Nipsey in a vlad interview back in 2010 & then made various appearances in music video throughout the year. He was talking about investing money but definitely remember people not knowing who he was then. Rest in peace Nipsey
😊 5:58
@@Natalialoboorca he was tho damn you either young or dont know hip-hop lol
i would argue nipsey is a musical legend tho he single handedly changed the way we look at mixtapes before 2010 rappers were "jackin for beats" on tapes. nipsey was doing original music then he charged 100$ on "crenshaw" and people clowned him for it until he made 100k and got to keep all the money.. he was about independence and masters he knew his rights and held labels up for years until he signed in 2017 to release Victory Lap before Nip mixtapes were free now they don't even use that word they'll just call it a project that's the nipsey effect.
also if you know music you know views/sells and radio are operated by labels thats how artist get songs on commercials and radio spins he did everything independent then signed and showed he could make a grammy worthy song with "racks in the middle" nipsey was definitely a musical legend he had a purpose and never took his sight off it
Yea I always said that after he died. All that fake bandwagon love he got after he died was disgusting
It happens after literally any artist in any genre dies, especially if they die at a young age. Even if they were very successful while living, it’s still an even bigger boost from bandwagoners when they gone. Weird phenomenon but it is what it is
It’s a reason most record deals have a “death clause”....
Yeah that shit wack 4real...Hey,, what do I know🤷🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️?
I loved how all that "never ever snitch" shit went out the window and all the crips were taking the witness stand.
im originally from LA but moved to NY as someone that was listening to nipsey since 2009 the love he got wasn't fake he was beloved by the industry just because you don't do a bunch of songs with niggas don't mean they don't know you.. he was also a west coast and a crip legend i know people from NJ that listened to Nipsey only thing that was new was girls and maninstream rap fans (sidenote WACK doesn't like Nipsey so cant expect him to keep it real)
@@HakeemTheLeanI was in Ohio listening to nip back in 09 as well been a fan since the livemixtapes/Datpiff days Nip had plenty of fans all over only people that wasn’t up on Nip was really this new streaming generation(gen z) that came up after the blog era,as well as people who only follow mainstream artist.

I bet A Nipsey would have had a problem with wack saying he drank and ate left over “Seamen”. If Wack is your friend your enemies…..
Nipsey had Puffy, Kendrick Lamar, YG, The Dream.Ceelo Green and Marsha Ambrosia on Victory Lap name another underground artist with that tracklist!!
I still feel like Diddy & Lauren London played a role in Nipsey’s setup and used Eric Holder as their cover up because I’m still trying to get an understanding as to how Diddy is the Executive Producer over Nipsey’s Victory Lap album when Diddy only work on one track on Nipsey’s completed Victory Lap album?
Nipsey got called for reasons more sinister than just calling somebody a snitch. Which supposedly didn't happen. Failed extortion can easily turn to murder, just saying

Wack lying..Vlad interviewed him as a favor for interviewing Game dude goes to 3 places only..no jumper..Vlad..clubhouse..all in the same area hr from LA he’s a fraud
could be related to an issue/incident at the "Higher" video shoot
Wack 100 always speaking that truth 💯
Wack hates Nip cause he was everything Wack wants to be. Famous, successful, beloved and respected. Meanwhile wack is 60 and he hasn't started his own business, hasn't created his own podcast, hasn't found any talent. He's just a old truck driver.
Bro capping. Nip and Eric didn’t have a squabble the week before. Eric holder not even the the type to fight
You was there?
Facts
You know these people personally
Eric Holder totally merked nipsey...
Yes because Steven Johnson who PAYS VLAD to watch his channel knows more than Wack100 whose been in the industry for nearly (or over) 20 years.
Again they said this convo nvr happened about callin him a snitch…
Nipseys crew 😂😂😂
Nah cowgirl the only one who said it. If he didn't call em one then I dont see what the problem was. Cause he was cool at first even was getting food he wasnt planning it he went to car a came back
Yeah cuz u know
Damn Nip and Sitty Cuz getting into a fight prior changes EVERYTHING about this situation, especially considering if Nip got the best of Eric Holder!
Only people surprised are people who don’t understand how the gang politics go. Nipseys a gang member no one gets treated special. These people upset didn’t even know about nipsey till he passed
It’s definitely a normal situation. Rip nip , street rule #5
never say anything to a man about his street flaws unless u are physical addressing the FLAW on sight !!! No talking just action !
Blood speakin that REAL💯💯🎄
Why we still listening to Wack when Cowboy stated that snitch comment was never said
Informant A talking to informant B
BIG impacted the culture while he was here which makes him a legend. What he did in 3 yrs takes artists damn near a decade to do.
Biggie is not a legend the man only had 3 albums
Yeah Big was great… gotta give puffy credit for the idea of the beats he was rapping on as far as the remixes
Biggie only had Ready to Die. He was dead and gone by the time Life After Death was released @@makingmoney8470
@@avenueaddams people always talk about the old days. I mean bro they interviewing special ed lol so come on
I refuse to believe that Nipsey and Eric would allow themselves to have any form of exchange or interaction about anything after allegedly fading it out a week prior to the incident. Wack is just a diabolical liar for the internet. So shameful for a man his age.
I said the same thing… I seen the security footage, it was a regular relaxed convo they was having.. nothing like 2 ppl who just faded a week ago should look like
@@scofficial1 exactly
Key word....believe. it's never about what you believe. Facts are facts.
It don’t matter what you believe. What happened happened
Exactly 🙌🏼
I downloaded the Slauson mixtape and the Section 80 album at the same time and I'm from the DMV smh😢
Being called a Snitch is equivalent to calling someone a pedophiler. Ain't NO 🧢n' in Nipsey 🏁💙🙏
Biggie was an automatic legend off of 'RTD', that album was received quite well with that day's audience.
Granted after his untimely demise his status skyrocketed, just like anyone who gets taken out while at the top of their game and doing it in a major way.
RIP Pac and BIG

Why Biggie is not in my top 5? Not enough material.
You sound ridiculous that man was not a damn legend off that album .

No one really cares about a biggie outside of new york 😅

Nipsey and Kobe are LA LEGENDS!
Thought that shit said “part 100” for a second 😂😂
1st time hearing Nip and Eric had a fight week before. If that’s true…that’s crazy!!!
So Eric crashed out over snitch allegations? 🤔🤔🤔
Nip was line up/set up either by jealousy or politics or both.
That was a reckless killing/mission done on camera in a public area.
Wack says they had issues before that. Which indicates motive for animosity and shooting.
I be surprised if you ever see a young/new L.A rapper live as long or grow old as Cube, W.C or Coolio.
That how California gang/prison politics is. You sign your own death warrant if you don't have the paperwork in hand accusing someone of snitching. Nip knew the rules and still talked recklessly.
@@LegitRunInGunner So did Nip accuse Shitty Cuz of snitching or did he tell him the streets is talking about him and need to clear the rumors up?
Shitty got mad because those rumors gave Nip a excuse to not associate with him.
Shitty crashed out over jealousy and envy.
Cowboy said Nip didn't call him a snitch.
A hater will use any excuse to carry out their agenda. Nip gets more love than any rapper ever in L.A. you won't see that again in our life time.
FACTS!!! eric holder supposed to get his respect for standing on business! 60 dont respect real crippin!!!!!!!
I wonder what Wack's homie, 6ix9ine, has to say about it.
Wack 100 couldn't have explained this better. It don't matter if your a famous rapper. If you bang, it's set first period.
Nip may not be a World wide legend . But California he is definitely a legend. I’m not from Cali and I even know that.
No u don't shut up
I live in LA. He wasn’t a legend until he died. Because of his gang affiliation, you couldn’t even play his music in certain parts of the city.
@@Insertquartertocontinuebull$h¡+
Nipsey Hussle is a legend music wise! He was the first to sell cds for $100 then the first to sell them for $1000! He owns his masters, he also has two Grammys.
What I’m lost on is no one says shitty was a snitch so where the fuck did nip get this information from. Shit just seems strange
He wasn't a musical ledgend, however he opened up and enlightened people that transcends race and gangs.why you think that album was called victory lap🤔
NIPSEY IS THE DEFINITION OF A LEGEND 👑
Cult icon maybe not a legend
@@BobMacay lookup the definition of a legend
It all makes sense now….Cowboy said that Nipsey said “I wonder how this gone turn out?” When Eric pulled up in the parking lot. Wack maybe telling facts here
"let me interrupt you just for one second" 😂😂
Your nobody till somebody kills you...- BIG
Wack ain’t going to learn until they finally just catch up to him. Playing with Nip is not a wise thing to do. He still won’t learn until they bring it to his front door.
