I'm a life long Trekker. So I loved Picard, but hated seeing Patrick Stewart looking so frail.
Rings of Power wasn't divided, apparently most viewers who watched the show statistically didn't make it past 2 episodes or something.

Halo wasn't divided. Everyone hated it lol. And idk maybe it's because my expectations were already low but. I kinda enjoyed fallout. Yeah I have my gripes. When I was finished I bitched to my friend about all the issues I had with it (they were confused because they never played fallout) but overall I liked it. Meanwhile I see quite a bit of people crapping on it for.... some pretty valid reasons. Some idk if they just went in looking for things to hate. It's fun to crap on Bethesda

The whole point of season 7 and 8 of GoT was to end it as fast as possible, damn the story. The show runners wanted to do something else so they spit out a bunch of junk and filmed it.

Exactly! And boy it backfired because they got fired from that Star Wars project because they literally set a whole new standard for bad writing with that mediocre 7th season and the putrid final one
I enjoyed Elementary, Fallout, and Star Trek: Picard despite their flaws.
Helps that Season 3 of Picard was genuinely fantastic.
The original animated ATLA is unbeatable!
Imagine putting both Fallout and The Last Of Us on this list as "dividing fans" and yet leaving out the Halo TV adaptation.
Isn't that more universally panned by the audience and shilled by the media
Most people agree that Halo is crap so it's not really dividing the fanbase but the opposite is true for Fallout and TLOU
I think Tolkien fans are pretty united in their hatred of "The rings of power".
Avatar, The Witcher, Ms. Marvel, and Game of Thrones. I praise them all. The bad metaphoric meaning on why changing Kamala's powers, is ridiculous. She still stetches, but only when she lights up. They made her sort of like Green Lanturn in a way. With Got, I only hate Daenerys becoming her father's daughter. I think it should've been that Jon abdicated his right to the iron throne, she makes him King in the North again, and not burn down the city. Cersei would b imprisioned forever, but as fate already said she would only have 3 kids; she either looses the baby, or is taken from her to a better loving parent that would not know the relation, for a good up bringing.
Henry Cavill will be the best Geralt of Rivera. Although I like The Witcher, but the show isn’t following the books like it should be

This is actually close to my list Top of 33 & counting instalments of the “Morbin Time Cinematic Universe” but now having to add Fallout & The Last of Us after now WatchMojo is rallying up people on social media to amplify the hate feels very unfair
I really liked Ms Marvel and hope to see more of her and her friends.
The last three seasons of the walking dead were a huge improvement over 7-8. Overhated. Great series.
Game of Thrones - People have debated about the ending to it for years, some people loved it & others thought it went out on a wimper.
I’m shamelessly in the category of those who’s split between the two categories.

i’ve seen plenty of people complaining about Shady Sands and the NCR, plus the usual crowd calling it “woke” even though Fallout has always been diverse

don’t know about TLOU, but some Fallout fans despise the show because of some continuity errors with Shady Sands and stuff like that
The Last of Us is the greatest video game adaptation to date.
How are Fallout and TLOU on this list? Plus, Game of Thrones as a show didn't divide fans - fans uniformly rejected and hated the final season.

I’ve seen The Witcher, The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power, first season of The Walking Dead and Game Of Thrones from the list.
GoT’s final seasons sucked in many ways, yes, but most of the arguments as to why were moreso a problem with the lack of media literacy a lot of viewers had rather than the show itself. The story was fine, as well as a lot of the writing, it just was the rushed lack of consistency that was the problem.
Still haven't seen Avatar....refuse to....last time was just too bad.
The Walking dead lost me on like season 6 or 7. The last season that I watched was when they killed off Glen and Abraham. The show kept doing the same thing over and over again.

Halo probably didn’t make this list because it is pretty universally hated by the fanbase rather than divided among the fanbase.

I find that shows or movies based on animes or video games to be either a hit or miss with a lot of people but I think that most of them don't follow the source material all that well and make up there own story with the same chracters.

Honestly I liked season 1 of the Witcher. They started losing me season 2. I pushed through season 3 because I wanted to give it a chance to redeem itself, but after that I’m done.

I only made it through 2 episodes before I had to give up on it being anything like I hoped for. It did absolutely no justice to the books.

The title is kinda misleading. Should say tv adaptations rather than tv shows.
Making a tv show or a movie based on a role-playing game is never a good idea. The whole point of those games is player's individual decisions that become canon in their game. Changing that on tv destroys the whole point.
not really, there’s plenty of canonized endings in the games, like Fallout 1, 2, and 3, they even canonized the player character to be male in Fallout 1

What even is this list? Neither Fallout, Witcher, The Last of Us nor Game of Thrones were divisive among "hardcore fans". Fallout is received overwhelmingly positive, The Last of Us is well liked, and not a soul who read the books can stand The Witcher past S1 (which was also mediocre). GoT was beloved until the end of S4 (heavily altering Jamie and Tyrion relationship) and the fiasco that was S5 going forward. Honestly, this video is poorly researched.

You should call these Top 10 Television fanbases that act like the world revolves around them.
In communist Poland the communist party put fake products on sale, like fake chocolate, which wasn't chocolate. It had 'replacement label' and the name of: chocolate-like product. So miss showrunner of The Witcher replaced book lore and took a page out of communist Poland lore and gave us 'Witcher-like' product, that is a fake Witcher. When you openly mock the source material you can't be surprised that fans abandon the show.
No Doctor Who ? Thats a show that is haemorrhaging viewers with its grim wokeness. Not long for this world, thankfully.
S8 of GoT was so bad that it actually united the fandom to hate it. Like I have never seen a more horrible and more hated ending. It completely deserves all the hate it has. That season, especially the finale, was boring, full of stupid lines, ludicrous dialogue, retcons and ooc character personalities out of nowhere, and completely and utterly anticlimactic. Once my favorite show that I binged every year more than once… now I can’t watch it. Thankfully I moved on to the books

9 elementary - not something I would ever watch plus I don’t like Johnny Lee miller.
8 fallout - worth watching not amazing but not bad. Second season could really be good if they don’t screw the pooch moving on.
7 Witcher - a better watch than game of thrones, which was easily one of the most overrated rated shows ever but it’s also not amazing.
6 The last of us - haven’t watched it.
5 Ms. Marvel - won’t watch it. The show has bothered everyone I know and woman are definitely the most critical of it.
4 Picard - won’t watch it.
3 LotR rings of power - looks good and is completely boring and a waste of time.
2 Walking dead - I read the comics up to a point and the show had some moments but mostly it always seemed every single season boiled done to “why does anyone watch this”
1 game of thrones - the most overrated fantasy show of all time. Basically a waste of time. Sadly a very disappointing show.
