Thankyou - this is first time I’ve found this channel and having pushed myself with exposure & trigger situations on a trip I feel completely overwhelmed and my anxiety is through the roof- this video has given me some structure to cope with my day ❤
In my case, I think I have no choice but to continue the work. just carry on
And you absolutely can. :)
You can do it Cleo!
Thank you Momin, well explained.
Ty Momin - yes bare min. those days
after each disputing session i forget everything 30 minutes later
great point
:)
What to do when both you AND your partner have OCD and both experience a bad day at the same time but with different themes/triggers ?!
That's a tough one for sure Gio - You could have some strategies in place, something that works for the betterment of the unit, where there could be some short term separation (going to another room for 2-3 min) as you both work on not needing those time outs. That could be a step in the right direction though.
Hey I have 1 important question
Can ocd relate thought or image sometimes come without having ocd
( for example- harm ocd , Hocd , religious ocd , soocd or etc related thoughts image can come without having ocd ?
I have a question: I’m not sure how much recovery work I should be doing and what is considered recovery work for me. So how can I assess what is the bare minimum for me and to not fall into laziness?
Firstly start by not looking at it as doing the bare minimum.
Books and cutting bad behaviors always number 1 🙂
You mean because when you’re mild to yourself the “bare minimum” is still the maximum you can do that day and that’s okay?
NLP or CBT or Erp or Act therapy which is better for Ocd/Gad indecisiveness.Does NLP help ?
Hey Bisha - It's best we drop the terms. OCD is a belief disorder that's fueled and glued together by compulsions/ avoidance. As sufferers we tend to confuse ourselves more with these terms. Best to work on breaking down beliefs and facing fears.
