I read somewhere that Matchbox may have approched Delorean about making a version of the car and that is why Hot Wheels had to modify the casting and release it as the Turismo. Not sure if that is fact or fiction. You have a great collection!!!

Thats a circuit board strapped to the hood. It has glass tubes and diods and circuitry on it.

The DeLorean is a car I remember hoarding back when the new casting came out (Both the stock version and the BTTF one) I really love the 80s version and would get all the repaints I could find. I've made some many customs of it too because of how much I like the casting. I was so disappointed with the new version that looks like knock off tesla.
