    I bought a Nanrobot D4+ scooter on Amazon last month and it was a different brand. I love it cause it's very quickly, but after about a week, it has stop working about 20 miles because the controller burned out and they sent a new controller to replace it,then my scooter finally back to normal,but after nearly one month of using,I found that the battery life became shorter. The original factory told me that the dual motor's voltage is very large, so the battery life will be more short.The factory suggested me bought a new battery, but I can't accept it, so I chose to return it

      that's why I always advice to grab it from another brand, from Alibaba or bangood where you can find it half the price. FRom CHina I am getting my delivered and I asked it without the battery since they also confirm that they use random Chinese cells so battery are bulky to get to the Amp and the discharge current needed. Spend the money and build a battery ot pay someone to do it. Use known good cells, like Samsing 30Q. Good quality price, we used a lot oin esk8. This board the 23Ah version is a 14s9p, with Samsung 3 you can get at the same Am with a 14s8p but probably a 6 or 7p will do fine since the sag is way less and battery gonna last way longer. So you save space, weight and have way better battery.

    so out of all the scooters you've had, which is your favorite and why?

      The Nanrobot D4 has been the best so far. Performance wise it is leaps and bounds ahead of the other scooters in this price range. I did have my latch bolt break but it was replaced with a stronger bolt and now I've got zero issues. When I want to get 30+ miles on a charge I can do that, if I wanna just smash home as fast as possible I can do that as well. For offroad it really only likes hard packed dirt. You get onto anything loose and the front wheel just digs in. But it's a blast to ride and I have no regrets spending the money on the D4

      @@billymontgomery6945 thanks for replying. How is it better than the Qiewa you have?

      @@dzungscott The Qiewa was a nice scooter but it didnt have the power that they claimed. It said it had a top speed of 35+ mph (I never got it above 28mph) and with the brakes giving me constant issues it wasnt worth the head ache so I returned it for a refund. The Nanrobot actually hits 35mph in dual mode, it is as fast as they advertised, also the brakes have been much better than the Qiewa brakes. It has a high ground clearance which is really nice, you can roll it off a curb and not worry about dragging your frame. I personally think the D4 looks way better and more aggressive. The Nanrobot has an issue with the folding mechanism but it is an easy fix, just need a stronger bolt for the latch. $10 max to have one custom made. But other than that the D4 has been perfect.

      The Qiewa has better range because of the single motor though so if your looking for max range that's a good option. Brakes can be upgraded. But if you weigh 180lbs or above it's not gonna be that fast on hills for you and you will wish you went with something dual motor.

      So far so good, it has the same noted issues other people have talked about, the front suspension makes a metal clack sound over decent bumps, the brakes needed the spacers re arranged on the bracket, tighten up alot of bolts. But since I've done the initial setup I have not had to re tighten 1 bolt, and adjusting the caliper got rid of all the squeaking. So I will do another video soon highlighting some changes I made. With a full battery it will do 35mph which is awesome, battery drains fast in dual motor mode but on single wheel eco mode you can get good range.

      I've got about 80 miles on it now, did a 20+ mile ride with the wife the other day and got back with 52 volts still, I was pretty impressed. That was mostly Eco mode/Single wheel just cruising about 18mph. I used dual like 15 times for hills and what not though.

    • @billymontgomery6945
      @billymontgomery6945  Před 4 lety +2

      @@loon78112 I got it off the Nanrobot website, i like the quickness with Amazon but i feel like the company is more likely to help with issues if you purchased directly threw them. Could be way off on that but that's basically why I chose their website. Also I got it cheaper because of discount codes.
