I love that you have such a wonderful collection! How odd it is that a person would wonder why you would have multiple Bibles- that is what bookshelves were meant for! Collecting books😀❤️
Anyone serious about starting bible study should at least have a thought for thought or optimal equivalence for easy reading and a word for word version for deeper study of the words and history, in my opinion.

Thank you and God bless you plenty. I watched the video, loved it and I was searching for the bibles as I watched(pause, search, watch..lol). I suddenly have a love for buying journaling bibles, so when I watched your video on buying second-hand bibles I was so glad I did. Since then I have purchased some good bibles at amazingly low prices. Now the next is how to get journaling supplies at ridiculous prices and low or no shipping fee. I will dance for joy should that happen. :)
Thank you Shirley! For lower supplies...try the thrift stores, dollar tree, and coupons at the local craft stores. You don't need much!

I feel like maybe you shouldn't tell people it's ok NOT to have a Bible. They can use their phones... We should be encouraging people to have an actual BIBLE to read out of.. everyone wants to do everything on the phone these days. Why? Just why? If you can afford a phone you can afford a Bible.

2. NIV Journal the Word Bible, Large Print,

This was so very helpful as I am always on the lookout for my next Journaling Bible. I am a sucker for a pretty Bible but I also want to get Bibles that are less girly because I want to gift one to each of my 2 grown sons after I have filled them with my art and words of wisdom, lol, so they will always have something meaningful and dear to me to remember me by after I'm gone.

Good morning! I'm so glad I found your vid on journaling/note taking bibles. I'm a baby Christian and I've been a bit overwhelmed w/ the number of translations, what is the best bible for newbies etc. For me, NLT is easy to understand. So I've been looking for an NLT, white paper journaling bible with soft cover. Can't find on Amazon. Don't know where else to look?! Have you or anyone reading this comment come across one like this? Any help would be wonderful! Thank you ❤
Look up bible version chart on google and choose one that is word for word. Paraphrased is not very accurate. Even half way between paraphrased and word for word is ok like NIV or CSB as you will understand it and more likely to read it . The only bible to get is the one you can read and understand. ESV is great.

-Single Column
-cream pages
-Large Font
-thicker pages than that butter sheet page
--Full color ( with pictures, diagrams , timelines, etc) if possible

Not yet - to make a Bible requires a lot of pages. To have thicker pages means the binding won't hold it well.

I am soooooo torn between the black hardcover NIV or that gorgeous chocolate/ turquoise leather soft bible.
I have a NKJV cloth-over-board journaling bible. It was my first journaling bible. I love it, but wanting to go to an NIV.
I love to alter book covers (I also make junk journals) and want to alter my NKJV cover. Not sure if I could alter an imitation leather, flexi cover very well....but then I could just leave it alone, but where's the fun in that?! 😉😆

I’ve been looking for a journaling Bible but can’t find one I like 😔. I don’t want a coloring one and I want a soft flexible pretty cover . The inspire bibles are gorgeous but they are coloring ones. Wish they made them in just a journaling format. NIV,

What type paper & front & back covers is that?
I am confused. I want to study the Bible hard and do this type of stuff but at the same time I hate it when things look too "busy"/"crowded" if that makes sense (I'm not a native speaker so I'm lacking the right word here 😅). Y'all what am I supposed to do 😂
I totally understand. Do what's most comfortable for you. The purpose is always to grow in God's Word - so do what best suits you.
I'm the same way. I'm more of a note taker too. You could use colored pencils on the borders of the margins.
Can you suggest a kjv journaling Bible that has cross references and a concordance? I see lots of other translations with these things, but for some reason kjv has only cross references or the concordance in a journaling style Bible.

I am looking for a Bible that is either NIV or ESV that is best for highlighting. My highlighters even though I have no bleed shadow so bad on my pages and I can not find anyone who days a video that just compares highlighting. I try to look at the pages in videos for bleed through but most of it is art on the margins and I can’t really gage what I am looking for. Can you help with advice
I would try the illustrating Bible. It's got the thickest pages. I did show pens (not highlighters) in this video which should give you an idea of how it would handle a highlighter: czcams.com/video/H7QZOaCRTbE/video.html
Which one do you recommend for someone who is heavy-handed? I would try some pencil drawing and color pencils in addition to note taking but I press hard without even noticing.
I would recommend an interleaved Bible or the Illustrating Bible for those who are heavy handed. Great question!
Hey, I've been watching your channel for almost 2 years now. I love your videos and I wish I could have a journaling bible too. I've looked for them in my country but to my avail I haven't found any and on Amazon the ones are find cannot be shipped to my country. I just wanted to ask if you would maybe gift me with a new NLT journaling bible and some journaling equipment😬💙.

KJV is not a word for word. The thees and thous, believeth …this is how they spoke in England not Israel. Try reading the first king James 1611. It goes over my head.
The translation is word for word versus idea
