I was a Book Of The Month member in the 80’s when my children were babies. At that time a book was just sent to you no choice. I rejoined BOTM in 2022, love that I get to pick my choice! I even bought a year subscription for my daughter for her birthday, she said it was her best present ever! I understand it is not for everyone but I love it. I check out if the offered books are at my 2 libraries, if not, I order it from BOTM.
I canceled my book of the month two years ago becouse I wanted the ya picks and their new picks aren't my taste. After a year I looked back on the website and it turned out it did not cancel my account. So I had 12 credits. I called asking for a refund. They told me that becouse it had been so long they could not give me a refund. This whole year I have been getting books I did not want in 3 at a time when there is a book I somewhat kind of want. I FINALY used my last credit this month and I'm so relieved.

Yes! This got to be frustrating for me as well, especially if I didn’t want one of the features choices and wanted some of the add ons.
