- Surviving 5,000 Days in hardcore Minecraft! Taking the 100 days challenge to the extreme!
In this video, I survive 5,000 days in hardcore mode.
I put 1,200 hours of work into the world and another 100 into editing the video.
I really hope you enjoy the video!
Throughout 5,000 days we built so many things -
The Dome Base - a massive medieval city inside of a dome, populated by villagers.
The Japanese Town - a massive Japanese-themed village with everything one would need to survive.
The Spawn Village - a massive wooded village around spawn, powered by magical torches.
The Alexa Project - an insane storage system that can sort every single item in the game.
The Galaxy Netherhub - a fully functional nether hub modeled after space, looking at a pixel art of the pinwheel galaxy.
The Industrial District - a 128x128 block area with most of my farms inside of.
The Slime Farm - a massive perimeter slime farm capable of producing 200,000 slime balls an hour.
Wither Skeleton Farm - I placed nearly 50,000 stone slabs to make the wither skeleton skull farm.
All The Other Farms - I built several other farms over 5,000 days.
Everything Else - I hide many easter eggs inside of the world for you guys to find once I die!
Please note, there are a few parts throughout the video where you might see an illegal item, such as a cow egg. I had to go back after hitting 5,000 days and re-record a few scenes that involved using these items. I made another world and shot the extra videos on there. Don't worry I didn't cheat! :D

For anyone wondering why I have cow eggs at 2:32, I needed to re-record some footage that required spawning cows in, I did this on a copy of the world, not on the real world. There are also other scenes with high levels, and weird other inconsistencies, the reason for all of those is the same. Don't worry I wouldn't play 1200 hours just to cheat, cheating only makes the game boring! :D

He streams everyday and he shows with f3 which day he is in he reads chat so that shows that it not prerecorded i watched all of his streams and i can say he isn't cheating
This has the plot progression as a regular show episode compared to other hundred day CZcamsrs. Awesome!
All the inconsistencies in this video:
I won't even talk about the cow eggs. And I realize that a good amount of these could be dismissed because he rerecorded a few parts but I’m still mad sus and here’s why…
1.) There are a ton of unreasonable time abnormalities. It could be because he was simply giving rough estimates of how long it took him to complete some of the tasks, but some of these are simply not reasonable. I’m going to assume he slept and skipped the maximum amount of time possible (therefore, 1 day = 10 minutes)
- Day 2 - 14 cutting down trees? That’s 12 days or 2 hours of cutting down trees which even with a stone pickaxe, he should be able to clear an absolutely massive area.
- Day 140 he has 1027 levels and netherite stuff. Also a firework even though he doesn’t go to the end until much later. This has to be a rerecording to even make sense but also, 1000 levels take a monster long time to do. Jihita said it took him 53 hours of straight grinding to get to level 1000.
- Day 230 idek how many beacons those are but this also has to be a rerecording.
- Day 830-850 it took him almost 7 hours to find an elytra? Also the inventory at 7:33 is questionable (see point #4).
2.) 5:14 is a super sus moment because he cuts off his inventory completely (even though it’s halfway cut off throughout the whole video. Probably to hide durability inconsistencies). He also is missing 4 armor points which is exactly how much you are missing when you are wearing an elytra.
3.) To go along with the inventory discrepancy in the last point, I noticed how he never has an actual inventory of stuff?
- 4:05 he is only working with enchanted armor and a pickaxe.
- 5:21 he only has obsidian and flint and steel in his hot bar
- 5:31 he is geared up for a raid?
- 5:47 only good blocks and nothing else in the inventory... and then in the next scene he goes back to a diamond pickaxe when he just had a netherite one.
- 6:03 he only has sandstone blocks. It would be extremely inefficient to open up his inventory and grab his pickaxe if he misplaced one.
- 6:36 just casually totally cleaned out his inventory spare a totem of undying in his off hand while in the nether.
- 6:50 compare this inventory with the one from 7:33 the axe, shovel (both which are not enchanted), bones, coal, one block of nether rack?, and one soul sand?? are in the same place. He also has been carrying around that brewing stand the whole time.
This is getting redundant… The point is, pay attention to his inventory throughout the video. No Minecraft player keeps their inventory like this. I’m starting to think most of the video is “rerecorded”.
4.) The Optifine Versions!
- At the beginning of the video, I can see he is playing on Optifine_1.16.5_HD_U_G6. His first F3 screen was on day 50 (2:09). Optifine HD U G6 was released on Jan. 16th, 2021. Since there is no logical way he made it from day 50 to day 5000 in 5 months (which would require him playing over 9 hours a day on average), I can assume this is also rerecorded).
- However, on his day 1000 F3 screen (7:52) he is on Optifine HD U G7 which was released on Mar. 4th, 2021. Since there is no way he went from day 1000 to day 5000 in a month and a half, I can only assume this was also rerecorded.
- He is also on version G7 on 2000 day (11:04) so that is rerecorded. The extremely strange thing is why he would rerecord day 50 before he rerecorded day 1000 and 2000? It is possible that he just saw there was an Optifine update after he rerecorded day 50.
- However it is even more strange when I saw the F3 screen at 12:43. He is back on G6? Which means that this clip must have been recorded around the day 50 rerecording and before 1000 and 2000 day rerecordings even though he’s after day 2000? I also deduced that it was only logical that this was a rerecording as well. This is because he is on day 2352 which is roughly halfway to day 5000 so if we underestimate that he only spent 600 hours after this clip and that he recorded this clip the day that G6 came out, he would have had to play 4.55 hours per day since Jan. 16th.
- 15:17 He was playing on G7 in this clip. Again giving him a significant amount of bias in favor of him, he would have had 1595÷5000 percent of time left to go which equals 382 out of his “1200 hours” he put into this video. This would mean that he would have to play an average of 4.56 hours per day since March 4th. This is not completely unbelievable because he could have AFK’d a really lot. So he gets the benefit of the doubt on this one.
- Never mind… this is totally blown out of the water when he switches back to G6 on day 4380 (20:45). I seriously doubt he would have reverted to an older Optifine version 1000 days later. This is the first believable clip timewise though!
5.) He constantly switches from netherite to diamond tools from 18:48 to 20:03. He also has a diamond chest plate from 21:30 to 22:10… And diamond tools again at 22:43.
6.) The fact that he didn’t make a 100, 200, 300, 500, 1000, 2000, 3000, or 4000 day video………
The saying goes, “innocent until proven guilty” and all of the things listed above could simply be coincidences and it’s not impossible that he could have legitimately survived 5000 days. However, I hope at this point, I’ve made it clear just how absolutely absurd this claim of “hardcore” is. I’ve read through a lot of other people pointing out inconsistencies. He says in the description that, “I had to go back after hitting 5,000 days and re-record a few scenes that involved using these items.” I think he “rerecorded” the entire world for views.
I want to end this off and say that he definitely put in a lot of effort into this video. Even if he made the whole world in creative mode, that would still be pretty impressive. His editing style is also superficially pleasing. The tone and pace was on point. But please, don’t undermine the work of REAL hardcore players. Loony has the pinned comment and he really has survived 5000 days. In your streams, saying you started from day 5000 is a lie. Restart from day 0 because I think you could do well with all of your skills!

So yeah I guess I get it because 5000 days of footage would take up like 99% of space. In that case why not just chop it up into 1000 day increments

This video is CLEARLY FAKE, over probably 1000 iron blocks no iron farm, 1000 gold blocks no gold farm, fully enchanted netherite armor not ever mentioning obtaining it, a perfect medieval liek village in the span of like 80 days and 20 is dedicated to it, tons of diamond blocks never mentioning it, having a load of slimes without having a slime farm, has the ended dragon healing beam IN THE OVERWORLD which isn’t possible without mods I believe or something, 64 cow eggs never mentioning why in the video just in the comments and casually uses ancient debris in red stone also the clouds are different without anything else changed, oh screenshots taken later on in the video because you didn’t before so you never went in your house when recording??? For anyone thinking he cheated: think again! Haha. You can see some illegal items such as cow eggs in certain parts of the video. Once he hit 5000 days in Minecraft he had to go onto a separate world to re-record certain things that he had forgotten to record originally. If you read the description, you can see him explain that! Hopefully this helps with any doubts that any of you might be having!

Can we not just enjoy this guys content, it has been made for the viewers to enjoy and if you care that he may have "cheated" even though he has explained the reason most inconsistencies happened then don't voice that because all it'll end up doing is demotivating a good creator and that's not what CZcams is about. This whole video is sus at 3:43 he had 1027 levels and was just building a creeper farm. Dont know about you but 1027 levels takes a very long time to achieve in minecraft
