Rogue River Stonefly

The Rogue River Stonefly has been around for quite some time and is a favorite among fly Anglers who chase stoneflies of any size and length. This is a great pattern to use foam on with the extended body and some good elk and deer hair.
Hook: TMC 200R Size 4-8
Thread(s): Black 8/0 (70D), Semperfli 18/0, 70D Fire Orange
Body: Orange 3MM Foam Folded, Extended Body Style
Wing: Stonefly Wing Cut out using a Medical Tape or Similar
Underwing: Orange Krystal Flash
Overwing: Cow Elk Back Strip or Moose Hair
Head: Humpy Deer Hair, Bullet Head Style
Legs: Black Flexi-Floss
