I sense Alexis will be named the worst. She doesn't care and is a big baby. Let's hope Descy has changed and will drive more safely, especially with her kids. One thing I've never seen them teach is how to regain control of the vehicle if you start spinning out on an icy road. I did that once. I was taking an icy curve at the speed limit and started spinning out. I then remembered what I was taught in Driver's Ed. Shift to neutral and look where you want to go. I did that and my truck kept turning from side to side, but I stayed focused on the road and when I slowed down enough and regained control, I shifted back to drive and kept going. Hopefully, Descy gets the message. You can focus and look where you want to go. It could save your life and maybe somebody else's.
I hope you didn't shift into drive while it was rolling forward, not good for your transmission. I had a similar experience but I ended up jumping into a ditch. I thought for sure I would have completely ruined my front end suspension, but after my buddy showed up I put it into 4 high and it pulled itself right out. Tough ass old Dodge... Descy seemed sincere in that she would keep up her promise to drive safely and showed care for her kids and others around her unlike Alexis.
@@ixionn563 Yes, I did. That's what I meant when I said I kept going. I didn't know it wasn't good for the transmission. It's the only time I've ever done that and I sold the truck in 2008. It was a 1985 Dodge Ram. I miss her. She was an old beater, formally owned by a farmhand and gave me plenty of trouble, but she was a good truck and was the first vehicle I ever owned. Glad you and your truck were fine. Let's hope so about Descy.
I’m inclined to name all of them the worst. Brandon still needs to develop a lot of emotional control. Alexis still has a terrifying attitude. And Brittany has managed to improve very little despite apparently learning a lot.
I've learned so much over these 14 seasons that I know I am a better driver. It certainly has improved my attention to the road and what is going on around me. And it taught me to parallel park.
Where I live I haven't had the need to parallel park since my drivers test. And I never liked having to park like that. But now I feel like I could do it pretty easily if I had to.
@@readysteadywhoa Sadly, he may need professional help if he truly has bipolar disorder, or medication. It may not be as simple as just learning to control his emotions. That said, I feel that it's really hard to judge him as a driver because of how emotional he is behind the wheel. It's like Angelina in Season 9.
If he has true bi-polar disorder then he needs serious help. The emotional trauma from everything that happened to his father doesn't help either, it's hard to grow up as a man without a strong father or even mother figure.
ABS is a great safety feature, there is no doubt about it. However it is still very easy to lose control of a car with ABS on ice as well, it is important that in whatever car you drive, you are able to judge the proper speed for the conditions, and as they say in the video, smooth and minimal steering input. The animation of ABS in action at 24:15 was pretty cool, and very accurate.
It can also be rather scary in the rain. Was on the highway one time and ended up locking up the right front wheel while the abs did it's thing for everywhere else.
And when they said, it’s almost impossible to turn with no ABS actually you could if you just pulsate the pedal with your foot when trying to stop. Yeah, it’s hard but it might work.
Agreed, though I find I am often faster then the ABS, like the few times I have started to slide, I fan feel it and switch to threshold braking before the ABS kicks in. But in an actual panic stop scenario, it could be an issue, I just haven't had that happen in years since I'm always always looking way far ahead and predicting the stupid before people even do it!
I feel sorry for all of you who grow up in big cities. I raised my three children on go carts, mini bikes, and later motorcycles from the time they were old enough to walk. I took them out to parking lots in cars, and just told them to do donuts, slides, and just have fun. Not drifting in a circle which is what they do on this show. One of them was young enough to get into drifting. All of them are superb drivers. If you never touch a vehicle before it's time to drive you get this show, and the guy at the beginning who had no idea you have no steering while had breaking.
Why the hell would you assume people in big cities don’t get these kinds of experiences? You may as well say people in rural areas are shit because they freak out over parallel parking and one way streets with heavy traffic in cities.
Maybe it's different in your car, but if I would set my mirror like you describe I would not good enough vision next to my car. I could easily overlook a cyclist, scooter, or a small child.
I'm in the UK and I've learnt from this show. The lessons are quite basic really but anything that helps improve driving is a good thing. The driving commentary is something that is done when training UK police in high speed pursuit tests.

Bad Drivers of Moose Jaw I personally want brittney fo be cwd because Victoria has too many bad drivers
Descy only drives bad when she is in the car without her kids. or that was said at some point
She said that she only crashed and got into acccidents when she was alone, so atleast she cares that much?
It was really sweet to see the entire CWD cast and crew at the beginning!
Descy should get a Ford Focus 😂😂😂
Fuck yeah ive had four And buying a new one hahaha
I’m inclined to name all of them the worst. Brandon still needs to develop a lot of emotional control. Alexis still has a terrifying attitude. And Brittany has managed to improve very little despite apparently learning a lot.
Whoever cuts their license up avoids the title. Whoever does not should be named the worst
I mean, its called CWD... Obv all of them are shittyy drivers and i myself who is not a driver can and will drive better

I never knew commentary was an actual thing i just do it in my head and it is extremely helpful.
Mad respect to Brandon for realizing how he drives and want at act upon it
Alexis is totally going to be CWD, her lack of caring is really frustrating
She's turning into Krystal.
Tomoko Kuroki yes
Amazing that the "icy corner" is considered the Most Difficult challenge when Canadian drivers deal with it every winter!
And this is why ABS exists. However there are still drivers without ABS brakes and although rare ABS can fail.
Love when somebody shows up telling them they really saved lives. That's what really matters.
Honest to God: Canada and USA need to implement a "no more driving for you" law

Probably a experimental robot or something. Not even a zombie would be that braindead
I must say that's one cute zombie.
They're really bad this year...
Total nut cases.
These challenges look so fun to an experienced driver, they need to let me on their course in my truck 😂

*OVER STEER OVER STEER OVER STEER*
It looks that Brandon is the only one thats get it, you don't only drive save for your self. But most of all, for others
Really hope he isn't CWD... if he could learn to manage his emotions, training would take care of the rest.
@@ArmageddonisUnleashe Yes, learning to manage emotions could certainly involve professional help and/or meds.
Sad he's canadas worst driver. Sarah just wanted to help him I mean: *Brandon's crying* "Brandon you learning that's ok."
When she hit the brake at 26:28 it made her shoe light up lol

"If they ARE the worst"
Good lord, drama in the comments ;-;
Good old *Y O U T U B E D R A M A*
I feel sorry for all of you who grow up in big cities.
And you probably taught them how to drive in all conditions. I really like parents like you. I'm so happy somebody else teaches kids the right way
Much thanks. I would turn back time just so I was raised in a small town or on an acreage.
Why the hell would you assume people in big cities don’t get these kinds of experiences? You may as well say people in rural areas are shit because they freak out over parallel parking and one way streets with heavy traffic in cities.
We all learned some skills by watching this show, for instance I started shoulder checking every time.
(I used to just check the side mirrors)
Same actually, and the turn around to reverse instead of using mirrors
@@MaFTB yeah i do the same but in some situations you will need to check your shoulder so dont just forget about it keep it in mind.
Yup, Same
Maybe it's different in your car, but if I would set my mirror like you describe I would not good enough vision next to my car. I could easily overlook a cyclist, scooter, or a small child.
Hey, me too! I rarely shoulder checked but now I do it always when I'm unsure of there's someone around me.
Brandon always manages to look like he’s coming out of a sneeze 🤧
I feel bad for brandon, you can see he wants to try and he does care about improving but he simply just cannot control a car

I agree
I'm in the UK and I've learnt from this show. The lessons are quite basic really but anything that helps improve driving is a good thing.
The driving commentary is something that is done when training UK police in high speed pursuit tests.
I love Drew's line, "Your doing a hundred and fifty." Cracks me up.
It is really good to hear that this show has saved lives of viewers. I have also learned a lot about driving from watching this show. Eg icy corner and how to shoulder check without drifting which almost got me killed until watching this show.
brandon alexis are not even trying i hate them atleast britney is actually trying! i hope alexis becomes candas worst driver
Vipex i hope Brandon
all of the finalists desrve to be canadas worst driver, they should give back their licenses

Vipex Brandon’s trying. His mental illnesses don’t help though.
Brandon at least cares that he is a hazard on the road, he is willing to cut up his license if he doesn’t get better. Alexis on the other hand does not give one single flying fuck, she is very fucking dangerous
Abs... That's like *air brakes?*
Pgamer TBP Hell no

Anti lock braking system. ABS prevents ur wheels locking up and skidding if u brake hard.
Honestly love the section on ABS. Just an awesome explanation and demonstration of what ABS does and what you should do if it stops working.
Alexis says she WANTED to be pushed, now that she is BEING pushed, she feels offended?? Something not right in her head
All of them are terrible...but still happy for Desi though. Think she needed a win there.

Tim "Peeps" Danter

Hey Descy, I know you read through some of these comments. I hope you are being a more focused driver, and much safer. It would be nice to have an update from you. Its upsetting to think that you've been hurt so much by car accidents. I unfortunately know how important it is to focus. I struggle to focus normally but I am aware enough to know when I am not focusing.

Yeah. At the same time i'm thinking that shrinking it to 30m would be 60/40 for me to fail.
Honestly ... I'd want to push it just to see the destruction 😆 I mean its just styrofoam and the car is toast anyway.

Giving the CWD title to one of them will be unfair because I think some of them are on the same level, they will have to do something like a “Co-CWD title”

This intro was a good example that the show is more that just a reality show. Its education.
Brittany clearly has listening issues... But, Alexis... yeah she's by far the worst driver out of all of them. She doesn't give a crap at all... Disgusting attitude.
