Tbh i agree with all of that (personally for what applies to me) except the hanging out, because i like hanging out with friends often but also do really enjoy alone time
@@mrsnekk1304 I like the hanging out with friends but it's the making of the friends part that's mildly terrifying

I am a 52 year old social introvert, I have been an introvert for decades without really knowing what I was, I was derided and bullied as a child because of my introversion. I have always loved being alone and doing things by myself. If my phone never rings that's ok with me, I have literally less than 10 people that I can genuinely call my closest friends and prefer their company on the rare occasion I do feel like socializing. As an adult introvert I have discovered being alone in the woods and hiking, sitting down and taking in the surrounding is where I feel recharged, my thoughts are free to flow and so is my creativity. Thank you for putting these videos together, I do appreciate it.

Your age are same as my mom! :D

3 types of conversations introverts do (from my perspective):
1. Deep conversations, lets you get emotional connection.
2. Laid back conversations, lets you get a connection, but without too much emotion. (Similar to small talk, but more honest and transparent, allowing an actual bond to happen. Usually with friends.)
3. *Memes, they're just memes.*
*hmmm yes the meme is made out of meme*
I can confirm we *love* memes
After so many years and months of thinking about “what is wrong with me”, this video finally gave me the ability to be more happy with how introverted I am…. Since I’ve had been in the kindergarten, I am thinking about what I do and who I am a lot and the older I get, the more I realise how many facets my personality has.. for example that I kinda identify myself with all of the four different types of introverts in different situations or phases of my life. I was also very surprised about that every fact in that video was accurate and fitting to me. And I am happy that CZcams recommended me the perfect video that was meant to be seen by me. :D

Introverts just feel tired after spending time with people. Extroverts feel regenerated after. Anything else is either social anxiety or a misconception.
Hey guys, just wanted to tell you that you are doing such an awesome thing just by running this channel. I love the videos where someone shares their story. I just wanted to give a suggestion for upcoming videos. Maybe you could give an example (in each video of the behaviours, characteristics, and other things) and dedicate a video to all the *types of introverts* so that we can understand it all better. Thx for all your effort. Love ya ✨💝

I’m so glad I’m not the only one who loves it when it rains. Not to mention the smell of rain in dirt and concrete is heavenly.
I love the sound of the rain in the early wee hours of the morning, when it is silent and I can just focus on the sound of falling rain. :)
I agree!
The sound of the raindrops are calming and the situation just fits
😩🤚✨
@@viperfury8577. Really? Personally, I love it when it gets stormy, as long as I know I am safe indoors.

Anyone else have the song "I love a rainy day" by Eddie Rabbit running through their head right now? 🤣
I love rain so much, I literally charge my earphones and tablet to listen rain sounds all night. It helps me get distracted on some negative thoughts and it magically helps me sleep and get comfortable. I feel at ease. Everything abt rain heals me.
I am proud to be an introvert😀
so am I

I'm kinda not tho
This channel is just what I need in my life at the moment. I think I'm a bit of both a social and a thinking introvert. I'm struggling to find valuable connections in my extremely sheltered life. I tend to think the insight and skills that can be attained through these videos will be invaluable. Thank you.
The simple beauty of quiet-solitude is one of the greatest pleasures in life. When you are a peaceful, calm and relaxed, the world is a great and wonderful place.
Surprisingly I relate to all 4 types of Introvertsion.. like I am anxious like always , super self conscious , I love alone time , I'm also social but with people that I like only , I don't assume someone is bad right away but when I know who you're and I don't like it , I wouldn't hang out around those people anymore , I know it's toxic but I don't want toxic people inside my life or people that drained my energy badly or people that is rude and disrespectful and manipulative.. I'm highly sensitive , I usually observe the surrounding more than just jump in , I'm always awkward when meeting new people or someone I don't know , but I'm super talkative with people that I know , super talkative in online but not really face to face..
My dad, who is the most extroverted person I know, gets irritated at me and can’t understand why I never seem to get “happy” when I hit major milestones, such as getting a first paycheck. I care, but I’m not driven by that stuff, and I can’t seem to drive *that* into his head after all these years.
This video knows us introvert more than our selves 😅
The interesting thing I've seen is a highly sensitive introvert, who took 6 months to really connect with, went so out there, had a great time being open and outgoing, laughing and carrying on, all day, then went completely flat the next day. Still friendly, just really quiet and reserved. At least it shows that when you put the effort in to connect with them they really appreciate it, but still need to recharge.
“To help u feel more understood” as an introvert, this just touches the heart in my opinion. Thanks for the awesome video
6:03 Geeggle ☺️💕 so cute
As an introvert myself this video makes me feel 10 times better about being an introvert. I’m currently in High School and I’m judged a lot for being quiet and shy and I’m often excluded even though I try to socialize. I even have teachers who call me out and are constantly telling me to socialize and have told rude things to me but this video made me understand myself a little better! So thanks you! To anyone reading this just be yourself, don’t let anyone tell you how to be or act ❤️
My gosh I just found this channel today and I really want to show these videos to my family to help them understand what I go through as an introvert.
This was very interesting I'm very glad you made this
thank u so much, i really needed this video!!!
i agree. I'm the only person in my class who is less talkative. i also think I have anxiety which really doesn't help with school and just normal life. i spent almost the whole day today trying to decide whether I should tell a person I have known for 6 years about my anxiety. but we not really friends we were friends for one year (the first year i knew him) but he has asked me multiple time what happened. so i anyone has some advice it would be appreciated
I could relate with most of these and some I didn't even know
Great video
I need to share this to my friends lol! Great video btw!
I wish people could understand us and stop forcing us to have fun or engage. Because whenever I was forced to have fun or socialize I feel so awkward that I think that everyone thinks I am not happy about the place people and activities
As a senior introvert, I thank you for this video. Helps me to understand how the world views me. I'm very much a social introvert, and have learned not to give a damn what others think of me. I will view the rest of the vids once I have more time. So far I'm impressed, keep up the great work.
This is soooo on point !
So much I relate to here. Thank you!! Especially number 10. I don't have to be happy all of the time. I love living in my house with the brook running behind it.
this video actually helped me to understand why i find so much pleasure spending my time alone. everything piece of information in this video about socializing, how the mind functions, and our perception on life in general actually helped me to figure out why i don't like hanging around too many people and would rather a more peaceful setting. this really helped my situation and cleared so many thoughts. i feel so much better about who i am. thank you very much 🙏🏼
I think I am a social introvert but only I’m socially awkward not only when it comes to new people yet it only comes to meeting pretty boys
(Don’t try that on me)💧^_^
And truthfully I don’t like how some people try to make me extroverted especially my parents
I don't find people attractive by looks
Love the STAR acronym!
Thank you thank you thank you for this channel!
When it is not sunny and it is cold and it rains I feel like I am literally in Heaven! I love the smell of muddy puddles😂
Introverts together makes the shiniest star ✨👀✨
Ok.
A lot of these points describe me but the thing about happiness got me; now that I'm thinking about, happiness has actually caused me more problems in the past than just being neutral
Being able too find your triggers and how to better handle them is a needed life still to learn.
That little pink guy was a bit sus 😉
5:23 You never know, it may be an introvert as well.
Loved it Introvertsunite♡
Found u from Psycho2Go channel 😁
How amazing to recognize yourself in so many of these points and hearing them as awesome compliments! Thank you for this video!
Alright, little story about why I need me time. So one day I went to school, “learned” for 7 hours, and then had to spend an additional 3 hours in an in-person driver’s ed class. At this point, it’s like 6:15 P.M. (18:15 for people who use a 24 hour clock) and my dad didn’t have time to cook dinner so he took me to a restaurant, this would’ve been fine had I not had a ton of homework due and a test the next day. So I finish dinner and by the time I get home it’s like 7:20 P.M. and I’m drained, and still I have work I gotta do, the frustrating, tedious kind. I then spend another 3 and a half hours working and then get to bed. The next day in English class I read the word “polish” as “Polish,” despite it making absolutely no sense contextually. I just felt overall exhausted throughout the day after, my brain didn’t feel like it was working right.
I feel like I’ve been the four different types of introverts throughout my life and I’m mainly a social one right now as I finally got out of my shell and made new friends and got more confident.
This video told me that I am a introvert but that’s good I’m happy I know I’m still learning about myself
thank you so much for this video. 😊
This is really helpful
as an introvert who possibly has a neurodivergency, my parents think i’m an “introverted extrovert” but I think that im more of a social introvert- i stuck with a group of maybe 2-4(I mostly interacted with these 4, rather than the 7 people we always had) but when one allowed me to rant i went off like the rest of them(their all extroverts- except for one- she was also an introvert-). They always let me rant occasionally, and took care of me- mostly the parent of our group- they were really sweet! They made sure me and the other introvert were ok, and would take both of us away from the group to recharge- usually during dinners-
I’m so great full for them taking care of us-
Definitely had some key points I can relate with
Having alone time is my jam.☺
Gotta love it when you rehearse what you’re about to say as an answer to a pretty thought provoking question in history class for what feels like 5 minutes and then you get called on and then guess what? You trip over your words causing you to forget your plan and be forced to improvise. All while 10+ people are watching and listening to you.
thanks for the fact with the neutral feeling instead of happiness...
i'm an introvert and i think to myself all the time: i like to play video games and do some other things too but i'm not like "wow omg i'm so happy"
I thought I wasn't doing well or that the hobbies I've been pursuing for years are actually not fun for me, although it's not like that...
Thanks for the explanation, now I finally know that everything is ok and that's right😊👍
Yeah, when there is a class and tr asks a difficult question. I already know the answer but im really shy to tell. So some other person says it and gets appreciated . But i actually answered it to myself way before the person did.
This sounds very accurate and true to me. I will share this video.
Most of these traits definitely describes me, and I love the rain❤️!! I find peace near water.
Thanks. I don't expect to be surprised after watching this video. Through watching this video, I discover more about myself and reasons behind my action/decision.
👍👍👍
As an introvert, I am grateful for this.
Everytime in class when the teacher asks questions and I already know the answer, I still can’t speak up. So other students answer the question. But actually I was the first one to get the it.
I just choose not to most of the time unless it’s taking too long for someone to answer
i LOVE this channel ❤️❤️❤️
Can we take a moment to praise how soothing and calming your voice is
Tbh I always like meeting new people but I feel at ease when I’m by myself and doing my own thing. It’s just helps me keep a good head and not freak the pluck out lol 😝
So that's why I'm the only one in class that likes the rain...
It was super relatable to me!! But.. Only a single thing is instead of trying and being an extrovert and that shyness thingy ppl actually say me..that I legit give ppl a cold shoulder😂
Thank you sooo much, I've been trying to use my knowledge of dopamine to motivate me to get stuff do that need to get done, and have been failing HARD! Now I'm going to try solitude as a reward. I'm still so confused and lost at life, but I'm trying to want to try
I'm in my late 40s, and still searching. But, what matters is that we continue to try. Keep at it, things will fall into place as you start to know yourself.
@@SurvivnIn508 thank you! Things have been getting better daily as I keep trying. ✌🏾
May I suggest to anyone interested in exploring introversion further, the book "Quiet" by Susan Cain? Great read, helped me understand myself more.
This video helps me understand myself
This is the first time I feel so good of being an introvert.
The intro is so cute🤩
Yes this helps me to understand myself better.
I'm 29 and really don't feel like I know who I am or how I function, your channels are helping me until I can afford therapy
Omg that's what happened to me today!!! I had a choice to stay in my home room or go to my next class. It took me a half-hour to make a decision and ask my friends (who didn't even answer me 🙁) and once I made my decision, it was too late. I also had a crush in that class so that influenced the decision a lot.
That's why I love rain ❤️
The last point was relatable
Now I know why I love rain so much- c:
i agree with all of this i analyze myself a lot so i can improve my skills so i know im an introvert
Can someone please explain nr. 5, regarding dopamine? If introverts have less activity in regions where dopamine is created, isn't less dopamine produced? 🤔 Very interesting video! 👌
this video was helpful. I'm the only person in my class who is less talkative. i also think I have anxiety which really doesn't help with school and just normal life. i spent almost the whole day today trying to decide whether I should tell a person I have known for 6 years about my anxiety. but we not really friends we were friends for one year (the first year i knew him) but he has asked me multiple time what happened. so if anyone has some advice it would be appreciated
I have no advice, that's because I can relate
I relate to all the types of introverts.
I love both rain and sun
2:04 look it's the funny lazy skeleton
Well i just have a get along with my family that live in same house with me because I'm used to them.
Like if i have social with other or make friends is make me be shy because its gonna be embarrassing if they feel wonder and dont wanna hang out with me because of my attitude That's what I doubt about myself with other people.
Well i can hang out if someone was invites me to get acquainted but sometimes I don't get along with them because their attitude is not suitable for getting along with me.
I'm confused with myself.
But this year im new at junior high school and i try to interact with them, its not easy too. Because in my country there still pandemic of covid 19.
I hope the the virus outbreak is over. 😄
I feel like I am all of this introvert types in one person for some reason
This describes me in every angle
Huh. I thought I loved the rain was because I was in Southern Cali where it never rains.
It was so important for me to hear that it's okay for me to prefer a neutral emotion over happiness.
Interesting 🤔
The thinking/sensing introvert.
thankyou - cast.
I wish more people would know how introverts "work", especially introverts.
Its all me,thank you for reminding😀🤚🏻
Can you be two types of introverts at once? I reckon I'm a restrained and thinking introvert.
