Look at it this way....if an apartment leasing office has that many rules and restrictions about who can even apply and put a hold on an apartment then they are probably not someone you would want to rent from because they're going to be super controlling over you. When your renting you want to know your leasing office has guidelines for tenants to follow, but you don't want them running it like a dictatorship either because at the end of the day....your home should still feel like it's YOUR home
I can relate so much, I just got approved for a new apartment Thursday after looking for months. It's a huge relief since my lease was up too! It will work out Lindsey, stay positive. :) love you!
