I'm Canadian, & I think Americans should stop taking President Obama & his wife for granted. You really don't understand how much world opinion about the USA changed when he was elected. How much more respected Americans are. I'm white, & I cried when he was elected. I never thought I'd see it in my lifetime. And, I shed a tear tonight listening to Michelle. So, that's from someone on the outside looking in .... look at other world leaders and compare. You are very fortunate to have the Obamas.

Michelle made clear tonight what many of us learned as children. The truth matters; success doesn't count unless you earned it fair & square; everyone is deserving of respect & many helped those who are successful along the way...the teacher, the janitor who cleaned the school! Shout out to Ms. Banks, Ms. Brock, Ms. Clayman, Ms. Larsen, Ms. Hertz, Ms. Wahab, Ms. Hogue, Ms. Gravely, Ms. Wise, Ms. Conn, Ms. Keener & all my teachers throughout middle school, high school, college and law school!
To both the First Lady and Mr. President:
You are both fantastic role models. It is very heartening to see political figures who genuinely care about real people, and treat all issues with compassion.

I'm a senior in high school this year and I feel so lucky that I have someone like Mrs. Obama as a role model as I am a young woman about to go into the world. She inspires me to create change. She shows me that it is possible to be a woman and not have to resort to acting dumb or uneducated because of my gender. She shows me that classiness and intelligence are the highest form of beauty, and for that, I thank her. OBAMA 2012! If I could vote, I would.

I saw a real human being on the RNC stage last night. I felt the love! Michelle is one amazing woman and politics aside, I woke a better person after watching her passion for loving the simple things in life. I am proud to have her as my first lady in this country!
Only wish i could stress how important it is you vote for yourself, VOTE even if its for R&R. I'm in England but i'd vote Obama 10 times over.

all political beliefs aside, the Obamas are an elegant and beautiful family that possess the right values and ideologies to help beautify the world.
I think my favourite part of the speech was the part where she didn't argue with an empty chair....... Maybe I have different expectations of a well delivered speech than Republicans do though.....

As a 25 year old woman who is barely starting out in life and her career she inspires me so much. Tonight when she spoke of her father, growing up with what you had, how her father did everything he could to make sure that she and her brother could go to school reminded me of my father.... Her and her husband inspire me to be a better human being
I pray the hateful people in our United States takes a few moments out of their shallow lifes and opens up to what this fantastic woman stands for. Thank you
