I love this cover. I have tried to play Warframe, but Skyrim is more my speed. Layne is a beatboxing beast in this cover. I think calling it a space shanty is perfectly...lol. This cover is absolute fire. Great reaction!

Like a good space shanty? I've been waking up every morning with that amazing driving song running through my head. When I was young I really wanted to be an astronaut, but at that time only fighter pilots (men only) were taken. I watched them launch and oh! I wanted to go.
Did you still want to be an astronaut after you heard "Space Oddity" for the first time?
@@DravenGal I've never stopped and now I'm 73. I would have gone in a heartbeat. I grew up in Cape Canaveral from age 8, saw all the astronauts lift off. Had some that sent photos our way. A friend of ours who was a nurse was on site when the 3 astronauts died in the testing of the capsule. Too much oxygen and they burned. But still.

This was so much fun, again... Never played the game and still loved the song. And, as I commented under another reaction already: Layne eventually was successful in leaving the orbit with this one.
I think Geoff's walking base line is amazing! In WarFrame, just before this song plays, there is a bit of dialogue from the character who sings the song: "I was working in an exosuit when the Tempstarii (a "ghost spaceship") destroyed Lucretia Platform (a space station). I drifted for days among the frozen fragments of my crew, my sisters. I dreamed their dead, gaping mouths were singing with me yet." This was filmed on the LED wall and floor at Optiview 360. Geoff created the background video for the projection. Geoff searched "Japanese street wear" to find the costumes.Cesar is wearing a white lens in his right eye, with Omar wearing it in his left. They also share a pair of blue lenses. Eli is wearing turquoise, Layne is wearing purple, and Geoff is wearing gold.
This is already on my workout playlists - definitely going to be one of my most-played songs from them this year!
This was another one where it makes me want to get up and play the game and I am not a gamer. This was just incredible!!!

Thank you for another great reaction to Voice Play. Voice Play are second to none. Nobody does gaming cover songs better than Voice Play. They always go all out. I love it when they give Cesar the ending high notes & his whistle notes are amazing . Cesar is a force to be reckoned with.

Glad to know I'm not the only one who initially thought this was a Layne arrangement! I don't know if I just misjudged Geoff, or if he and Layne are just getting closer together in their arrangements from how long they've worked together, but I really thought this was Layne until I looked at the credits.
I think it still holds true that the more Layne got to do in an arrangement, the more likely it's done be Geoff. And the more Geoff's got to do, the more likely its from Layne. (Even if "Hellfire" was rather difficult to judge by these standards, ans Geoff did sing his heart out and the beatboxing was still insane as - well, hell.)
J says he is coming back to VP, so Ithink they are just keeping his spot open for him. But the guest singers are all top notch, & I hope that even when J gets back VP will still do arrangements to accomodate these amazing vocalists to continue performing with them!
