Did she say 'pounds of milk's, or am I trippin? If so, I really need more of whatever I took.
Coconut milk too lol
Sadly...you are not trippin.
this is actually the norm in much of the rest of the world to measure by weight rather than by volume. it prevents issues like packing flour or not removing every last bit of air from shortening or lard. FWIW I'm an American Thai spent 7 years in Europe. kitchen scales are very inexpensive and well worth the cost when it comes to more finicky recipes
Yea, she does that sometimes😂
Yes, SMDH It evidentially freezes in the Refrigerator 🤦♀️🤦♀️
Lady, Get some measuring cups and learn how to use them.
Everybody's so creative
?
😂😂
If you don't have Jell-O, ask Kiki!
If it’s cream cheesy it’ll go down easy. 😂
😂😂😂😂😂 best comment
I watch your videos when im dieting to stop all my cravings
The seriousness of this comment killed me 😭🤣🤣
🎯🎯🎯😅
😂😢😂
Lol
This was the cruelest comment I have ever heard in my entire life 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Please do not confuse this for the decorative soap on the kitchen counter.
😂😂
Or vise versa!
I love that soap.
😂😂. I was thinking the same
Truth lol
One day she will accidentally come up with something wonderful. But not today.
It's a really nice dessert if you like Jello but her measurements are wrong or confusing pounds of milk? Then cream cheese that looks like milk?
😂😂😂😂😂😅😅😅
She didn't come up with anything now. This has been around for decades.
@ringwraith6 😂😂😂 what you're saying, if she don't have it by now...then
It's just parfait man, calm down. I buy this from the store.
She's really up here whipping up jello like it's gourmet😂
She used fancy wine glasses to make sure we knew it was “gourmet” 😆
😂😂😆
She ain’t afraid of no ghost! This kind of jello dessert was soo popular in the 50’s early 60’s
One day mom placed a platter of molded green jello over, yes, this was common, salmon! A whole fish!
It was like an aquarium! This gal is mild, trust me lol
@Marwal The only reason this lady hasn't put jello over salmon yet is because salmon isn't one of her regular ingredients, but give her time and she'll soon have a video adding meatballs or some sort of croquette to the jello 😂 I'm sure of it
@@MKMcDonald287
So glad I was born in 74. I saw a documentary about those times and they did talk about all the jello molds folks were crazy about. I'm not a jello fan at all, so I'm happy to have missed that one!😊
This is actually a Filipino dessert that we call “The Cathedral Window”.
I was like “why does this recipe sound familiar” LOL
@@zoee.. yeah, the only thing I’m not familiar with is the cream cheese…? You don’t even need that to bind it together, you usually just need whipping cream, condensed milk and unflavored gelatin sheets
@@zeruma.1264shes trolling. She makes recipies kind of normal but then does something really gross and weird yo get views. It's entertaining
"Broken Stained Hlass"
- with drained pineapple chunks and coconut with some pineapple juice, whipped cream and unflavored gelatin.
It's a Brazilian recipe too! ☺️
Was that .25 pounds of milk?...or .25 feet? I missed it....
What? You don’t measure your milk in pounds? 😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂
It was 25 inches of milk
😂😂😂
and a box of condensed milk
Personally I use 5 pounds of milk cause that is a normal measurement
😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂 and she may want to get rid of that cream cheese. I've never been able to POUR my cream cheese, no matter how long I've left it at room temperature.
@@peacelovingperson2539 it is heavy whipping cream with a bad translation
WHAT COUNTRY YOU FROM ???
How to make this:
.25 pounds of satire
9.71 teaspoons of jello (x4)
1337 micrograms of water
8 ml of brain cells
Bake at 420 Celsius for 69 mins
Wait....what ?
Brain cells ?
Is that legal ? 😂
😂Thank you for writing down the recipe for us she was talking kind of fast. When she says a box of condensed milk...how big is the box??? Lmao
brain cells .. I'm dead
@@divinetime999 lmao i missed the box of condensed milk hahah'
😂😂😂 👍
Add 4 metres of milk
8 yards of jelly
1/2 acre of water
Cup of butter
Jug of sugar
And you will end up with a secret door to the nether world 🌎
😂🤣😂🤣😂
Makes about as much sense as the measurements she gave.
And 30 seconds of butter.
Oh you are so funny🙄
5 pounds of butter to grease the dish
There’s a lot of extra stuff in this but Mexican milk jello pretty much lol we have this for celebrations
The sound of the blender drowning out her narration really ties this one together.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Well, it looks good! It's just that we made this in the early 70s. I am damned old. Shit.
Do you remember the name of it
Isn't it called jello salad? My father use to buy it in the store, but the jello cubes were smaller.
@@swannoir7949 I think it was jello salad. Always looked like tirine to me. I couldn't stand. It was good! But I was a kid. Lol
@@ednaoldebeken3853 What is tirine? I did Google it.
it's called the cathedral dessert...it's called that because it resembles the cathedral windows
Okay, not too bad. Okay, deep breath.
I've been binge watching her videos to check if she ever really made a good recipe. I guess I'll have to keep scrolling 😂
I did the same!!!! It is so horrinle that one HAS to look! Then I felt horrible about wasting my time 😂😂😂
😂
Keep scrolling Dear ...
You'll find one.... someday 😂
@@eftitasusarani5865 I personally think never
Binge watching is good for the laughs though.
I grew up on this. Its a popular mexican dessert.
Used to make this in the 80s..I think it was called broken glass and the creamy mixture was different in everyone's recipe. Beautiful and yummy
Did she really just pour boiling water into wine glasses, just to pour the gelatin into different containers? Could've gone straight to the containers in my opinion, because I don't think it's good for the wine glasses to pour boiling water directly into them as it could possibly cause them to break. Could also lead to some serious injuries.
Looks like Cathedral Window Gelatin dessert
Looks like homemade soap.
And that's why I wanna eat it.
Lol yes!!! I don't think condensed milk and jello go together you. Ewww.
@@montanamtngirl you've never tried it? Its the perfect combination!
@@montanamtngirl it’s not actually that bad
I just entered the twilight zone.
We all joined you.
Why is my stomach always bubbled after these super recipes 😂
The wine glassware were so dramatic 😂
And unnecessary 😂
Why is she measuring such small amounts of liquids in pounds?
Because she's one of the worst cooks on the planet 😢
Thank you. A pound of milk 🤷♀️
Just to ruffle your feathers, since y'all complain about eeeeeeeverything! & it worked! Ha!
I'm guessing it got lost in translation.🤔
BecUse she has no idea 😂
Subscribes for your comment section bc I've laughed so much at the comments you get thanks
I love this dessert! My mom always made this and we called it Broken Glass
We have something pretty similar to this in Haiti called blancmange, just instead of the colored jello it's fruit cocktail
I love the group Blancmange, they're British 80's music.
After a few hours in the refrigerator, our dessert is frozen...and, wiggly!
😂
Why didn’t she just mix it in the bowls? I guess the wine glasses were meant to draw us in…and why does she use pounds for everything? No one weighs milk…
It gets all of you guys going in the comment section which promotes traffic to their channel which generates more $ for them. Smart.
My mom used to make this for Christmas. Just milk and gelatin for base, add chopped up walnuts and chocolate. mix in other jello cubes. Heaven.
I’m so confused that I don’t even know what emotion I’m feeling right now.
My Granny (I'm 73) made this and called it broken glass tort. She put it over a crumb crust and topped it with another Crumb topping.
How many POUNDS of milk was that?😅
Why lbs?? Some oz how do you get lbs of milk??
@@jennyvaughn7470 😆she ALWAYS does the weirdest measurements
Please help
Finally a soap I can eat without my stomach having to be pumped!
Everybody's so creative!!!
It looks like a flashback from a bad acid trip 😵💫
You couldn't make this in Europe, all those food colourings are banned because they're carcinogenic.
Latin America
There are natural food colorings
yes a few colors in USA are banned in Europe, but every color is available using different recipe. European foods use European authorized colors. in fact i think less than 10% of USA allowed colors are banned in Europe ... SO, NO THE RECIPE IS 100% LEGAL IN EUROPE
Strange measurements to say the least. Not a gourmet dish
I think it's a computerized voice.. 😂.
This actually looks decent. Everything goes together. No meat paste in it or anything.
Love stained glass jelatin!
In the Philippines we call that dessert " The Broken Cathedral Window".
I love the name!
the colors looked beautiful but I'm not sure I can eat that!
in europe we are sure you can't LOL
This woman is totally trolling with these recipes.. I hope know one is actually making this stuff 🤣😂🤣
it to worry! 😄
? How is this one trolling?
and only 18 dishes/glasses/containers to wash afterwards
This reminds me of my childhood. In the 60s and 60s, jello deserts were popular. Jello was mixed with fruit, pineapple, bananas, cherries, walnuts, cream cheese, whipped cream, etc. I loved them and I'm glad to see they're making a comeback.
Everybody is so creative!
This is called Cathedral Window and has been around for a while. HOWEVER, why is there cream cheese??
To add structure to the dish...There's a considerable amount of liquid (the milk & liquid unset jello) that needs to be thickened...
Just to add the 'barf factor'..?
@poppykok5 There is absolutely no reason for cream cheese. It's just SuperYummy doing superyummy things. in tomorrow's recipe, she'll add the same "cream cheese" but she'll call it heavy cream and then the next time she might call it yogurt.
@@karin273 nah, it's not really a thing to buy, it's made. If you look up recipes you can find better made ones.
@@superhellno lmao. You're right. I got baited hard 🎣
That's what you call cathedral gelatine !😊
It's the amount dishes for me.
That's so pretty!
Our local grocery stores have been selling this dessert since the 70s... social media coming out with recipes from our grandmothers and advertising them as new...LOL!
I’ve always loved these from the Mexican grocery stores since I was young. ❤
Just skip the gelatine and use those wine glasses as god intended. Cheers!🥂
"Love it"!...
BEAUTIFUL 🤩❤️
In the last century, this dessert was called broken glass.
Those are Cathedral Window bars, from the 1960's, back when everyone owned Jell-O molds and the "Joys of Jell-O" cookbook and actually used them. This might be fun to make with the kids or just to be retro. Instead of her nonsensical ingredients and measurements for the cream mixture, try 1 1/4 cups heavy whipping cream, 1 1/2 cups warmed pineapple juice or apple juice, 1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk, and 4 packets Knox unflavored gelatin.
are you high...? hehehe ;p
Been eating this since the 70s. They sell this in Mexico on the streets. So 😋 tasty
It's called stained glass jello.
This is popular in Mexican/Latin foods and known as Stained Glass Cake.
Here in the Netherlands i never saw this in a shop.
"And use a spatula here, just to remove the pieces underneath."
Every piece is on the same level.
I love instructions that use different measuring system at every step 😂
That looks delicious and reminds me of a dessert I’ve seen but not sure what.
Cathedral window
Condense milk does NOT come in boxes, and milk measures by cups not by pounds, and coconut milk is not in pounds but by cups.
Gotcha ya.
My Bolivian friend makes this dessert. I forget what she calls it in Spanish.
I love it good idea especially from my grandchildren
Am I the only one who immediately thought “KAHOOT!!” When I saw the order she put the colours in when putting them in the trays?
Am I the only one concerned that the cream cheese poured smoother than the condensed milk?
This is from or very similar to the original Jell-o cookbook in the 50's. I believe this recipe was called royal crown or crown jewels and used a circular jello mold so it looked like a crown
Did she say add 2 5 pounds of coconut milk?! And 1 BOX of sweetened condensed Milk, mine comes in a can! Who talk this woman how to cook for Pete's Sake!
1962 called and wants its jello loaf back
So cool seeing this recipe again. I remember this from my childhood in the 1960s.
Great...We're going to make a very colorful!
This is an old classic in Brazil, mothers used to prepare for her kids in the 80’s and 90’s

This was made when I was a kid; I'm now 70. It was called a Jello Cake. It had a graham cracker crust and a whipped cream topping.
I've been eating this dessert since I was a child growing up in México where gelatin desserts are very popular. I was amazed on how amazed she is! 😊😂.
